Steve the date you analyse above state that other speedway commitments on running, that being the case Newcastle find themselves in a position not of there own doing as you say that they cannot run! The dates I give above where the promotion chose not to run on both occasions has nothing to do with the sport it was to do with Newcastle is a club so therefore it is my belief that the promotion rightly or wrongly have their opinion and their choice not to run. There is still more possibilities that more rain offs could prevail. Well I respect your opinion and take your view however you would not get the football bowing down to the speedway, so either they could of gone for a 7.30 time for both dates or run on a Monday. So I stand by my post and once again down to the promotion they made a decision that now could come back and bite them on the arse!

Dave as I remember reading at the time it was announced they were being reintroduced they had to run and if the result went that way after two legs the championship had to go up because of the farce last time they were used!

Yes I am & I hope that this is the last time for this farce, I also hold the factor that we now are looking low on dates for all fixtures to be completed before the end of the season at the promotions door, as there is at least two fixtures they chose not to run one being the Newcastle United promoted, and the other Cardiff weekend so sorry but they now have to suffer the consequences IMO.

That maybe so but I mean three in a row especially when the promotion said after the first time they would not do that again did they not? to many important fixtures that they wanted at least RR at worst case for! More bull in my opinion coming out of the sport!

It is a disgrace the way if the last three home fixtures had/do go ahead we find ourselves in the same situation, I for one hope this meeting is also rained off or whatever it takes to get either Robert or suitable replacement for him!

The only two riders I would possibly keep in 2018 would be Stuy defiantly and possibly Alfie but the rest goodbye, with the expected moves up for Rob and Steve.
