  1. What are you lot going to argue about next? IT'S THE GERMAN GP AND THE WILD CARD AND RESERVES WILL BE GERMAN!....WHAT'S THERE TO ARGUE ABOUT? Shovlar looking at things through his blue and white tinted spectacles as always!! The fact that Smolinski is no world beater doesn't come into it either, didn't hear anyone say Holder or anyone else should get the wildcard at Lonigo!!!
  2. Who gives a crap what time Bomber goes to bed before a GP? So Bjarne Pedersen was in bed by 8p.m!.....boring ol' git! So what time did he get up d'you reckon?...4 a.m?....5 a.m?.....6 a.m? He rides in a GP in the evening.....which means either he has to have a kip in the afternoon or he stays up all day. So he gets up something like 12 hours + before he starts work! I'd have done the same as Bomber.
  3. also have programme for race-off at kingpin23699@tiscali.co.uk up until 5.45.
  4. So the Russians go into battle with only 4 riders! Darkin will not be riding and they haven't been able to find a replacement.
  5. When the GP's were brought in i thought i read somewhere that the riders would get £250 per point.
  6. Stuff the National Anthem! This is speedway, not a karaoke contest, or pop idol. I don't give a hoot if they sing, goldfish or dance to the NA. Just get out there and ride......FAST!
  7. For a start, it means we come out of gate 1 twice in the first 3 heats....not that it'll help much. And Russia (in yellow) come off gate 3 and 4 twice each ibn the first 4 races.
  8. We i think JL should employ a comedian to be in the pits thursday. In my game, i've found, the more you enjoy yerself, the better you play. He should try these tactics....got nowt to lose have we.
  9. I must say that some track conditions suit some riders more than others. I've been Tenpin bowling for 40 years, and play at quite a high level and have seen the difference in players on different conditions. You can do whatever you like to lane conditions/track conditions or whatever and there'll always be someone who copes with them better than anyone else. Take Formula1.....and Michael Schumacher for instance...in the wet he was practically unbeatable...even last sundays race showed you the drivers who performed well in the prevailing conditions! Don't underestimate the importance of track conditions...they CAN and DO change results.
  10. Think Havelock should be in the pits with our boys Thursday night!
  11. Well, i thought Olly did ok. I felt more confident when he came out than the others. He gave it everything, and that's all you can ask.
  12. Why have different rules for different competitions? Ridiculous! They should've gone out...end of!
  13. 24 - 37 - and 56 please. That's....Sweet & Sour Chicken , Egg Fried Rice and Chicken Chow Mein. mmmm....
  14. It's a lot easier for the manager of a football team to bring in young talent. They can throw an unproven youngster into a squad of 14 or 15 players, throw them out onto the pitch with 10 others to look after him. In this game (especially the SWC) you go out onto the track on your own!!! This week, all JL is going to make out of a sow's ear is a sow's ear!
