  1. Merely a genetic suggestion that would account for the inability to produce a coherent answer and coincdently apparently suffering from the same aural defect. Read into it what you see fit, that your perogative.
  2. So, that's the response when either of you can't answer a straightforward question. Probably a side effect of pikey inbreeding in Cumbria then.
  3. As you're happy to bitch all day elsewhere about Edinburgh not being able to restage Friday's meeting so it's not fair on Workington, when was the restaging date offered by Workington for the League Cup Semi Final? Specifically.
  4. Yeah, ending the home fixtures with (another) defeat, that would be a cunning plan. No one would have been surprised - or cared - if Berwick had been eliminated from the competition today. Now John Anderson get the chance to cover the losses from a home fixture in which very few people will care enough to turn out & pay to watch as well as paying wages for the away leg.
  5. Alden MIGHT just be required by Berwick at Workington & if you think "Scunny have lent Nick Morris" you really have no idea how things work.
  6. Exactly, I don't understand the "which league" comment unless they're looking at the EL lol.
  7. So is John Anderson talking cobblers, or have you stepped in as sponsor? Whatever there's left of the NL after the winter surely isn't the answer.
  8. The programme nots from the Redcar programme pointed out that the awarding of the meeting doesn't guarantee their running next year - it'll be at Berwick IF they run. Less than joined up thinking, but that's what was written.
  9. Great Result? 2013 just moved 3 or 4 grand closer towards not happening - unless of course Shielfield Park is packed to the gunnels on Saturday.
  10. The day of the PL Pairs, England v SouthAfrica was due to be played at Cardiff. 50 overs match. England faced less than 6 overs before the game was abandoned. Batsmens' scores don't appear in their records & the match was never restaged. "Accounted for"? No result. Try reading all the post - that'll prevent the final from going ahead at Somerset.
  11. Cricket - The are any number of County games, Test matches, One Day Internationals, you name it that don't reach a conclusion because of rain. They share out league points, even for matches that never start. They even have a method of determining results (the equivalent of which for speedway would have the bobble hats in dreamland). The Duckworth / Lewis method (sexy name) was dreamt up as a number of one day cup matches were determined by a bowler from each side taking it it turn to bowl at a single stump, often in the rain with the team of the first bowler to hit the stump progressingto the next round of the competition. Only in Speedway, eh? Got a date to suggest for the restaging yet?
  12. So you can cope with playing with your pikey mates / extended family, but when it comes to a reasonable question like "when do you suggest that the Edinburgh v Workington Play Off Group Match should be rearranged" you can't conjure up a reply.
  13. When are you going to run the meeting(s) then? Give me a date when the meeting & subsequent meetings could be run? If it's a case of "pulling out the stops", which stops do you want pulling out? Edinburgh have Fridays & Saturdays - so that would stop the final going ahead at Somerset. Unless you're suggesting that Planning Premission should be sought to run on another day? Make a suggestion.
  14. Well said? What was well said? C'mon then, suggest ANYTHING as an alternative. Newcastle didn't win the league by the way, take off your bobble hat, join the 21st Century & you'll see that they were eliminated.
  15. Face fitting obviously is an expression you've just heard & want to keep repeating, but c'mon on then suggest an alternative - ANY alternative - other than running through to the back end of November or longer.
  16. What PRECISELY are Edinburgh, or the BSPA supposed to do? Make the rain go away? If only you had told them in November last year just how wet 2012 was going to be, I'm sure they would have modified the fixture list accordingly. They've let the agreed fixture run their natural course until there is no alternative but to take action to move the various competitions along.
  17. It'll not be the Sunday - It's being assumed if they make he PCT Final it'll be against Rye House, at Berwick on Saturday & at Rye House on Sunday. That's why here looking to go to Workington on Friday. If the fail to make the final, they'll be at Workington on Saturday.
  18. The day after a stock car meeting? Lets hope they would have more ambulances than at the PLRC!
  19. As its all over Twitter, the same local paper will reveal the first two signings on Friday, what's "the worst" you're being prepared for - Jaokbsen & Sanchez?
  20. "the worst"? Having already displayed that you couldn't be arsed to click on the link, it seems you can't be arsed to read all the words when it's copy & pasted in front of you. What's "the worst", and what part of the article suggests "the worst"? Is it the headline "that says "SEASON could be over" or the phrase "last home meeting of the SEASON"? Talk about reading something into an article that isn't there..... "bleat bleat, why won't they listen to the fans?"
  21. How about it making the winter a LOT longer? There can't have been anything but a large loss to have been had for everyone involved in this ridiculous competition, so getting through to the final just extends the losses & makes the prospect of coming back next year just that couple of grand less likely.
  22. Exactly! I wasn't at Workington tonight but, as far as I can tell, he got folks wound up a bit & no one died. More of the same required. Desperately.
