  1. I've just read that article. What a load of b******s. I'm sorry but I choked on my coffee when I read the bit about Scott being jealous of Hans. He is joking isn't he? I know this Scott/Hans battle will go on for ages and you are always going to support your favourite, but give me a break!! Hans Andersen was at Ipswich for 2 seasons. Scott was there for 8. In my humble opinion, for what its worth, Hans always wanted to be Number One, he still does, who doesnt? Scott didn't leave because of Andersen, he left because he wanted to win a trophy and a trophy he duly won. Hans always tries to come across as a little angel, but showed his true colours the other night at Reading, he wanted his own way, didnt get it, so threw his toys out of the pram. Also, trying desperately hard to block Scott in the semi to let Greg in. Didnt work did it mate!! I'm sorry but I was beginning to like Hans over recent months, but all of this in the last couple of weeks has really turned me off.
  2. He did move to Dudley I believe, but moved back to Ipswich a few weeks back. Think he missed his friends.
  3. He lives in Ipswich again now, its approx 145 miles I believe.
  4. Fairy, are you havin' a laugh? I really can't believe you have just said that. Having said that however, i'm an Ipswich fan, but an avid Nicholls fan and to see Scott still being mobbed at Ipswich every time he visits with Coventry brings a tear to my eye. The last time he came, he had a walk of about 20 paces from pits to shower room, this journey took him over three quarters of an hour, he signed autographs, posed for pictures etc etc until everyone was satisfied. On many occasions he has asked for merchandise to be sent free of charge to absent fans and in particular a little boy with leukemia, who I believe was guest of honour at his testimonial and the little boy received visits from Scott whilst in hospital undergoing chemotherapy and many phone calls checking on his well being. I have been to Coventry and seen fans swarming around him, he is always happy to chat and sign. When he was at Ipswich of course he only had a few hundred yards before he was home, now he has 150 mile trip. Do bear that in mind wont you!
  5. For quite a few years Scotty has been accused of being a woos, not being hard enough and backing off instead of going for it. Now, at last, we are seeing some real passion in his riding and of course some aggression, which riders must have to compete at the top level, but now he is being slated for being dirty. Its no good saying "after you" to everyone that challenges his position, what use would that be. Scott wants to be World Champion one day, as does probably every speedway rider in the world but to get to the top he has got to compete with the top riders in the world at their level. Guts and determination and pure adrenalin has got Jason Crump and Hans Andersen where they are at the moment, probably the best 2 riders in the world. Scott has got to match that to succeed and sometimes decisions go for you and sometimes against you. Scott has had his fair share of things going against him in the past. I'm not saying he has to ride dirty to win, but it is bloody tough out there and no-one will give you an inch. I bet every speedway rider in the world has been on the rough end of a refereeing decision, but you win some and you lose some, tonight it was Scotts turn for good luck.
  6. Sorry to say Hans, but in your own words, "What goes around, comes around",
