  1. To be honest lewy, I don't think me or you or any Devils supporter would be happy if Plymouth were going to any track, defending a 2pt advantage from the 1st leg, and having to use r/r for Ben Barker, knowing weeks in advance he would not be available, to me its very bad planning, and taking for granted you were going to get a big advantage from the first leg, who in their right mind would do that, you have to plan ahead, and take nothing for granted, and using r/r for a 8+ riding is a little different then using it for a 6+ rider, like Plymouth did on Friday.
  2. He's the only living brain donor. I agree, but the club must of known weeks ago that Fisher would be riding for Coventry, I have the feeling that they expected to be 10 to 15 points ahead, and not needing to bring in a guest, and only being 2 ahead from the 1st leg, it back-fired on them.
  3. Well they did it last time with two out, weather is sunny and dry.
  4. Weather in Plymouth at present is dry and sunny, looks good at the moment for the meeting tonight, will give an update later today for any Panther fans coming down for the meeting.
  5. Both Halsey and Hopwood have been around the SBA, Hopwood use to ride for Plymouth, and Halsey has been a guest for Plymouth in the CL days.
  6. I think he just got a dislike for Plymouth Riders, he's just following on from Plymouths meeting at Rye House, where according to Plymouth supporters that went to the meeting, said he didn't have a clue what he was doing, so par for the course I would say.
  7. Just going on last night, Steen was by far the better rider, I think he will make the top five stronger, but if Kus cant get some good points at reserve, then he needs to take a good look at himself, a few years back you would never think you would see Matej kus riding at reserve in the British PL.
  8. If you know the score, no point in recording it, forget the football, go speedway.
  9. I think England playing last night didn't help, good move by the club to have the meeting when England played.
  10. Have to agree with that, very dependable lad, and last night he showed it, looked very tidy, and when infront, knows all the right lines to take, one of my favorite riders. If he gates, like he did last night, then its goodbye, will be harder for him when he goes into the main body of the team, but he is to good to stay at reserve.
  11. Good riders can ride on any track, good meeting I hope, I'm doing the updates, so no messing around lads, PLEASE !
  12. Just to let any Bandit supporters know, that the weather in Plymouth at this present time, is sunny and dry, nice day for a Speedway meeting, was a bit dodgy early this morning, but that's all cleared now.
  13. Having watched Lewis at Plymouth two weeks ago, I rate the lad very high, a rider on the up for sure, in his last race he went four laps around the boards, not many away riders do that at the SBA, without buying a burger.
  14. Devon Demons are looking for two riders, any more offers.
  15. I think the main problem with the Demons now is getting a team together, with Rhead and Smart leaving, and I don't blame them for that, they need two heat leaders, the problem they have is nothing to do with money, seven riders and a track to ride on, would help, all down to bad management.
  16. Rant over, I will be there at the next Plymouth meeting trying my best.
  17. I agree mate, I have no problem with someone giving an opinion, but when someone says to correct updates, I don't see that as giving an opinion, I see that as he saying that the updates are wrong, and he is right, i'm not saying everything about the meetings I report on at Plymouth are spot on, but I try the best I can, in the time I have between heats, to give an accurate report on what happened in the race, and when people around me are trying to give there opinion, its not easy, because i'm the one who sends the report to Mike, so I have to get it right.
  18. Spot on Paulco, I do it because if I didn't away supporters would have no idea how there teams was getting on, its not easy sometimes trying to give an account on a race, some will see it another way, its all about opinions, and if someone don't agree and gives there opinion, I have no problem with that, but when they say just to correct the updates, that's not on, if people want me just to give a result of the race then that's what I will do, I want to enjoy the meeting like everyone else, its not a paid job, and not easy sometimes when you get riders falling off and exclusions, and the first four heats on Friday until track grading was very quick, I would like some of the people on this site who have had a go at me to try it, instead of backing someone who just can't go to the meeting and enjoy it, and will always look for something to moan about.
  19. Don't wear any Been banned from the Devils forum, so don't give me all that crap, like you are the only one, you didn't say anything about it being your opinion, you said to correct the updates, if you had said in your opinion, nothing would have been said by me. You will have me crying in a minute, this site is full of people like that, get use to it, or don't come on it, simple!.
  20. Do me a favour, next week, you do the updates, why do you look at them when you know everything, the way I saw it was Ryan Douglas lost control rounding Kyle Newman going into bend one, then lost control, he was never in control of his bike to challenge Rasmus, who was leading at the time.
  21. This is one area i do agree with you Former Devil, to even think that the club could get away with running two meetings on a Saturday without consent from the Plymouth City Council was bordering on the stupid, and thinking that the locals wouldn't notice was a bit naive to me, this is all down to the club, and if i was Lee and Ben i would not be happy.
  22. I agree, but why do you only come on the site when the Devils lose, as a neutral, and not biased like you say you are, maybe during the season you will come on when the team wins, and when the manager and the riders do something right, then maybe say so. One or two injuries and it could all change, but after watching them on Saturday, i have to say, they are a very good side, but if one or two of there top riders get injured, then that could all change.
