  1. That would be one of many names you could call Mike (Dad) , but Devildogger seems good to me, i think he must be a dog lover I think the medical room is a little bigger
  2. No but i think the barmaid would know about it
  3. Just had a personal message from bads1971 saying whoever you are you need to stop putting stuff on the forum about Mike, i think she means dad, she says what you have heard is not true, the place isn't a dump like you say, Mike (dad) isn't going anywhere, your cosy chats with Seemond as if, if you don't like the way speedway is being run don't go simple as, you hide behind a name Devildogger, it's Devildodger, and my real name is Roger Martin, and i stand by everything i have said, babs1971 whoever you are.
  4. I agree with you about this Mike, i think what you have said about Bowden is just about right.
  5. Sorry about that but don't call me old boy when you don't know me, last friday at the sba the talk about Bowden leaving wasn't any part of the conversation i had with Seemond, that about Bowden was everywhere on friday, so i wouldn't say it was any secret, if you wasn't there then maybe you could say it was a part of the conversation, but i would not have said it if it was ok.
  6. No he didn't tell me in confidence Bowden was on his way out, you have to be a Plymouth supporter and stupid like you not to know that, for Plymouth Speedway to carry on Bowden must go, the part that i was told in confidence goes much further than that, the place is a dump and needs sorting, getting Bowden out is only the start, no secret in that, i knew that long before last friday.
  7. Wasn't impressed with Fisher at the SBA last week anyway, not in the same class has Barker around the SBA, he don't like coming second, and if he don't gate he don't win, would not like to see him go, but if Bowden don't pay the people who work for him then i don't blame him for leaving, the sooner Bowden goes the better, i did have a word with Seemond last week at the SBA before the meeting, he came up to me and we had a long chat, but it would be wrong for me to put on this site what he told me in confidence, but all i can say is if things go well Bowden will be gone, and not before time.
  8. All i can say is the BSPA have not stepped in, but other wheels are in motion
  9. Spot on Mike, why do you think he only has his family on the gate taking the money, he may have to get some money out of his pocket to get someone in for Robert Ksiesak who got injured riding for Berwick over the weekend.
  10. Hopefully something will happen soon, and it will be cheerio Bowden
  11. Yes i saw that last night, Bowden's arms were going everywhere, i did go last night and i'm glad i did, it was a very good meeting in the end, at first i was thinking the team were going to get a right hammering, but they got it together in the end, a great display for young Todd Kurtz, with no help from Barker at all, i felt Barker did his own thing on friday, a let the young lad fend for himself, and did not help the team in any way, i think Todd having his family watching seem to do the trick, and his young brother looks to be following in his footsteps, sat by the ref's box for a change last night and kept myself dust free.
  12. That's all makes sense why Cory Gathercole is captain now, who's next i wonder ? I agree with that lewy, i have a feeling he will not run next year, or try and go into the NL, see how i feel tonight and may go and see the crowd on bend two.
  13. Big debate in my house about that, wife says i should go, i would like to know what my mates on bend two think about it, i have to say that the telly on fridays is dire, i'm still thinking about it, thing is if we all go then nothing will change, but you have a valid point.
  14. The reason for the drop in the support at the SBA has nothing to do with the speedway team, because like lewy has said the Plymouth fans love there speedway, but there comes a time when you have to say where is the money going, and how much longer can i support someone who's only interest is to take your money and can't even be bothered to pay his riders, i spend over £20 every friday at the SBA, £13 for myself, £5 for my grandson, and he has £5 to spend at the track, but when you look what Bowden is doing, you have to say do i support what is going on, and i'm sorry but i can not, if someone else was to take over i would be back there like a shot, but until then i will be spending my friday nights at home.
  15. Spot on Devilforever, and we all know why we had a kids race in the first place, because Richard Cameron from the burger van supplied the lollies, and he got shot of him for a reason only he knows, well it has to do with money, everything else is.
  16. Like you say lets not get into a slanging match, you have your opinion and i have mine, i just think the one and only reason Mike Bowden did bring speedway back to the city was to make money, no other reason than that, he do not give a toss about the supporters, all he wants is there money, i know you would like speedway back in Exeter, i use to go from the age if 16 to the meetings on mondays with my mates from work, but you would not want someone like Bowden running it. And yes if i did have the money i would try and buy him out, but i would find someone who can run a club the right way, and ask for there advice before even thinking about buying it, i would not jump in not knowing how to run it, like Bowden has done, he has a complete disrespect for anyone and anything, there were some great people at the club when it first started, Gary Spiller was a very good team manager and very dedicated to the club and was treated like dirt, Nick Truscott the club photographer is another one who he couldn't even tell himself that he had found someone else to do the photography, and left it to the men on the gate to tell him he wasn't needed anymore when he tried to get into the meeting, if you look at respect in the dictionary if says, to hold in high regard, something that Mike Bowden had when he first started the club, but now 7 years later after complete disrespect for anyone but himself, has lost it all.
  17. What should be said is, any speedway with anyone running it is better than no speedway, because there is nothing wrong with speedway, it's the moron's that run it, and if the people who run the sport continue to let people like Bowden run it, there is only one way it's going. I can see why you call yourself The Blindman.
  18. Does that mean you want speedway in Plymouth at any cost ? Do you think it was planed having Ryan Fisher in the team, it was forced on him when a rider backed out from joining the team to go somewhere else, the same with Gathercole and Kurtz.
  19. Good job it's just your opinion, because i don't think many share it.
  20. Why don't we all club together and buy him one anyway
  21. Got a good score in his last meeting, but overall i don't think Bowden will lose sleep over James Holder.
  22. Cheers Dave, one person on this site can't tell the difference between pairs and fours, i wouldn't like to be with him when he buys a pair of shoes, could be very trying for the girl in the shoe shop.
  23. Yeh people are wearing them all over the world, they don't know what they are, but they love them, i bet Bowden made a killing out of that, i bet he told them the track shop was full of them
  24. All that is going on in the club this year went on last year, surely they knew what was going on, Bowden still hasn't paid riders from last year, do they never learn, Ben must must know what happened last year, the man do not care about anything but getting money and keeping it, for the speedway team to progress, he must go, all the crap that Bowden puts in the Herald isn't doing the paper any credit, do the reporter think what Bowden is saying is the truth, if he does then i suggest he gets another job.
