  1. "Especially with no TR" - strange comment as surely you would expect the broomsticks to require a TR at Edinburgh's trick track...? Bewley / Hume - with Dan's massif and rapid improvement, I fail to see the disadvantage being in any way large.
  2. Interesting score Scotty? And that was with your man Paco having a good meeting with paid 6 from 5 rides and Ollie Greenwood getting 1 from 4 (plus Sarj accumulating 2 from 4). Of course your new favourite, BB, had a Tactical ride in that meeting and came second in Heat 9 (which of course can't happen this evening) in the heat after the Monarchs got a 5-0 against Sarj and Greenwood. Obviously a totally different Ipswich tonight, not just in personnel but in confidence and attitude too. Gee, I woke up totally confident but that is just ebbing away now..... and still over 5 hours to go.... From a Witches viewpoint, they do not want a 5-1 against them again in Heat 1, with the skipper falling and being excluded. Surely lightening....?
  3. I apologise to the permanent marker that I may have offended with my trivial remark. No, not going. Was going to drive, but something has come up (unusual for me) in my personal life and I am now keeping my powder dry for the OTA on 7th (hopefully). I didn't fancy driving there on my own anyway and still worried about 13 x 4-2's and Golden Heats - though do think this will be over by Heat 8.
  4. Machine problems from the word go and he should be well relaxed after his shortened break in Almeria.
  5. Well, you couldn't make up what happened last night could you Starry? Starry? Starry? Where for out thou Starry?
  6. I see that Danyon's NL CMA with effect from 01Oct16 will be 7.33 compared to Darryl Ritchings 7.04. Dan started 2016 on a NL CMA of 3.79. The lad has made terrific strides this year. (Connor Coles will move to a NL CMA of 7.11 from 01Oct.)
  7. Well, Witches familiars are their cats and if Alison brought along her flute, she could make some "noiz for the boiz" (and win the Massif Talent Competition at the same time), whilst we look after her young cat. Winners all round. Now what did that Eliza Dusshku has as a special talent? Mmmmhhhh.
  8. The one who coild play a flute with her .... young cat? Yes, really like Alison Hannigan. In fact, all the chicks in that programme were pretty ... nice
  9. Ahh, a long lost brother... As Ali Brownlee would say: He ain't heavy, he's my brother A shape shifter? Now we have almost eradicated the knotting zombies, we get a shape shifter?! Have to get Buffy and the gang involved now.
  10. What soccer players term as an egg chaser then?
  11. Looked ok in the ELPO match last night at Monmore.
  12. Yep my brother (Big Macca) is coming along again and Jim and his mate will be a permanent fixture now and will hopefully have the "Make Some Noise" stickers ready by then, too (wink). EDIT: To say, I guess we will all be making a noise during the meeting tomorrow. They should hear us from Armadale, lol. I am surprised that the Club hasn't yet announced its intention to stream the meeting live to a big screen on the Heath....
  13. This will be all over as a contest by Heat 8, I am that confident that the broomsticks will fly around Armadale, casting a similar spell similar to the one they cast at Foxhall and earning a comfortable passage to the Semi Finals where they will beat a flagging, BWD less, Rebels and meet Newcastle in the Final. Then again..... 15 x 4-2's ahhhhhhh!
  14. Half a dozen new members, who sit elsewhere usually, said they will move to Massif End and at least ten people who do not go regularly have shown an intent to come along and sit with the Massif, having been told about what we are doing. But one regular will be missing if the PLPO Semi home leg is on the 13th unfortunately, and a new supply of woodwind and percussion instruments plus props for zombie killing (and of course varied balloons) will need to be collected from IP2 for the Massif to use and enjoy and of course - Make Some Noiz for the Boiz. One of the West Ham crew is on alert.
  15. Believe you are spot on there S4K. Jordan has been seen bombing around Foxhall and mighty impressive he looks too both on the bike and in his attention to detail in the Pits area.
  16. Don't know about "Denial" but they may be in the Forth after Friday's PLPOQ2 v the Witches, lol - Apologies, thought I would steer it away from all the "fish" jokes, they were giving me a haddock. (Are we all too nervous about this meeting to start a separate Thread...? I know many Witches fans can envisage 15 x 4-2's.)
  17. Thanks brother from another mother. EDIT: I see that Ryan Fisher has announced his retirement from British speedway from the end of this season.
  18. I thought that the provisional Semi Final dates had been decided as: Somerset home leg (1): Friday 7th October Ipswich home leg (2): Thursday 13th October but not sure where I got that from, possibly BBC Radio Suffolk. Is anyone thinking of going on Friday? I've looked at train (£138), plane (£98) and boat (sunk without trace), so am thinking of driving up, but would hate to be there if Monarchs get those 15 x 4-2's. Scotty, I am guessing that Armadale is a hike both from the airport and the train station? Friday / Saturday travel and accommodation is always more expensive than midweek too. Been looking at a nice little Guest House at Burnham on Sea too, but don't want to tempt fate, lol. EDIT: I understand there is a big four wheeled event at Foxhall on Saturday 8th, so that would knock out a speedway meeting on Thursday 6th too.
