  1. Predicting an away win then Beer Hut, as that was how the Witches season started against the Scorpions, lol? If Eddie rides unbeaten, then it will be heading toward a draw for me, but I can see one of the three, let's face it, very strong, Witches heat leaders to clip his wings. If Eddie has a mare, then it should be a ten point home win. A lot of people, will be looking at the Leigh / Cam combo to maybe decide the meeting result, but I think Robbo may be where the result is decided. A solid 10 /11 from him could sway it Rockets way. Then there is the second strings and oh so important reserves. I really like the look of the Witches revised 6 & 7, exactly the type of riders that a PL Witches should be utilising and, a pairing that, say, I was to take control of the Club next season, I would be looking to start my career in the PL with. The friendly ghost will no doubt give it at least 100% as he always does. The youngsters in the Rockets reserves? Oh my, I am actually really looking forward to this one and I hope it is a cracking meeting on and off track. See you later guys. Safe journey to everyone and a safe and entertaining little encounter please for all. Anyone know what time gates open these days please?
  2. A great tactic lads. Put both out at No. 7 and Ipswich will have five riders in four heats and maybe, just maybe have a chance of not conceding a 1-5 in Heat 2. Chris, seriously, no Twitter account? Can I humbly suggest that you enroll.....
  3. Dynamite. It is a fragrance for men of a certain class is T Witter the new media relations manager at Foxhall?
  4. A (late) shout for James Shanes, lol. I was told thatbhe said no to a direct approach from CL so would be surprised if that changed now, but never say never I guess. As I said on another thread, it has to be Danyon surely. If not, I can't see him being in a Witches race suit again. Really HKP, Really? What is this beef that you have with me and my posts. You may know who I am, but I haven't a clue who you are and, tbh, I don't really care, but these continual put downs and veiled threats are making me tired and I honestly don't see why you feel it necessary to comment about my posts and the length of them. Maybe you are my ex wife and absent mother to my two sons, or maybe her boyfriend, sorry, I mean landlord. As I said before, if you don't like them, block me or simply don't read them man. And as for the sad people who Liked your post......? "So quit burying these little barbs inn your long winded posts it's not necessary". Your interpretation, and an incorrect one HKP. I had been fed information from someone whose name appears in every Ipswich Witches home programme and this had been backed up by a phone call, responding to my tweet, from a local journalist. I took that info as correct and brought it to the Forum. You have since said that is incorrect and that Guy Nicholls will not be the 2017 Witches promoter. I don't know where you got that info from, but the info that you share on here is invariably proved to be subsequently correct. I have not argued against it and assumed that you must have inside info, which you may or may not have. Good on you HKP and thank you for clearing up my misconception that Guy was being primed this season to take over the Club in 2017. I was obviously fed a pack of lies and am happy to hold my hands up to being had and trusting the wrong people. As I said in this post, which again you may consider long winded: I trust that you see no barb, or any other type of fish, hidden in that post HKP. I have no idea why you hate me so much, dislike my posts as much as you do and get so aggressive toward me. As I said once before, if you do not like how or what, I post, then do not read my posts or, better still, put me on Ignore. I hope that this has cleared up this misunderstanding but if not, please PM me or, better still, come and have a chat with me on Thursday at the Rye House meeting. I will be at the stadium by 6:45 if not earlier and I will be wearing a Cameron Heeps Racing hoodie and will be holding an Ipswich Witches programme board from 1984 with loads of Billy Sanders stickers on it. My older son has to work until 7pm so is unlikely to be with me, but my younger son, Dean, will be. He was named after Billy's son Dean who, like so many son's of father's who take their own lives, hung himself from Sydney Harbour Bridge as soon as he was old enough to get away from his mother, Judy, and her new husband Gary Gugliemi.
  5. Spooning, you know, that is where you deliberately mis pronounce words or sound switch them.... "Ipswatch Witches, which out for dumb and a lute reason purge." "To baldy go where no moon has gone before." Think you are confusing doggy with dodgy, but may be wrong and you know that in a Chinese phone directory, two Wongs don't make A Wright? EDIT: with my 60th in October, my memory keeps going back to what we used to do as kids and, apart from masturbating a lot, how I used to amuse myself as a lonely, youngest by a long way, boy. Things like water cress grown on blotting paper, stick insects, newts, butterflies, bubble gum cards of the American Civil War, petrol station coin collections, cut out and keep league tables, subbuteo men, model railways, two dozen lego bricks, the paper and comb harmonica, tin can and string walkie talkies, solitaire, airfix model aeroplanes, jumpers for goalposts, train spotting, hula hoops, skipping, yo yos, hoop and stick, hop scotch, guess the colour of the next car, name all the capitals of the world, cricketers beginning with the letter ..., going through the alphabet with names of Scottish and English football teams, washing up liquid bubbles. With a once great nation built on such thinking and ingenuity, surely Shirley, the Ipswich 2016 BSF Massif can build an orchestra (maybe an octet) of hand built for 99p musical instruments to welcome back Gentleman Leigh, the Pinjar Ninja and Shads to Foxhall Heath?
  6. Not what it says on the wall in the toilets behind the main stand, lol
  7. Thanks Beer Hut. Probably only shut to the BSF Massif so that we don't disturb the knitting zombies.
  8. I have passed water at Foxhall once or twice and sometimes voluntarirly
  9. Bazooka, veruca , gianluca I don't know but I have kazoos Herman Schnapps? He was a good rider in the 60's
  10. I have 125 classic American kazoos in storage along with a couple of dozen chicken shakes, but they don't make a great noise outdoors. Ebay, amazon, flirt4free are all good sites for cheap music making, lol EDIT: as this is most likely my last visit to Foxhall for a speedway meeting this season, it would be good to go out with a bang, so to speak
  11. You guys and your horns. A lot of the stuff I have brought before has come from Pound shops or Tesco and has been cheap - in fact a lot of it was, errrrr, oh yes, £1....
  12. Scots with Irish connections through my sister in law, lol. Anyhow, the bodrhan is easier to play than the bagpipes You be careful where you stick your horn, baldy
  13. Yippee. A full house hopefully, well by that I mean amongst the BSF Massif. Good suff, Baldy, really looking forward to it now. May even try and get my bodrhan in.....
  14. If you have anything that makes a noise or which drives knitting zombies away, then please bring it
  15. Really? You can get tablets for that I think, or is it an operation?
  16. Surely (and I don't mean to call you Shirley ) you don't have enough time to boo and cheer when you are phoning through the updates....?
  17. Banter bus should arrive at about 6:45 this Thursday as I am setting my alarm an hour early to make sure that I do not miss another Heat 1. From the pics in yesterday's Star, the crowd looked pretty healthy for the World Hot Rod Championships
  18. Apologies lads, that should never happen at any speedway meeting, so its embarrassing that it happened at the track that I would classify as home for most of my speedway viewing career. There are some strange people in Ipswich so I guess if it is going to happen anywhere it is likely to happen at Foxhall. Would imagine that if it's the same guy the chances that he is in attendance still would be remote as it is usually associated with a win at all costs mentality. Shads will have me as protection (not that he needs it) on Thursday Pob. Maybe the 12 of us can get a bit of atmosphere back in the old girl on Thursday, though we will probably get disapproving looks from the resident zombie knitting club - that's zombies who knit, not people who knit zombies, I think.... Not any party toys left in my collection, so it may have to be an old fashioned war cry competition, though with Bruv of bruv's megaphone skills already practiced and honed, the two of us may be at a disadvantage, Maybe I can cram some blue balls up his loud hailer when he is not looking....?
  19. I'm a lot older than I look, I think.....? Or, do I look older than I am? According to Wiki, named thus due to the additiion of a bee shaped hair pin? Zombie attack probably. Very likely to be repeated this Thursday.
  20. True Scotsman, true. I thought it was a specific ladies' hairstyle in the 50's / 60's?
