  1. See what happens when you turn down an overseas backed bid for the Club......
  2. I think it was the other way round, but no he will not be NeP. About time the fans who pay £16 plus £2.50 for a ridiculously sized programme spoke up. If I can't help promote then I will point out where the promotion is falling down from now on in. To think the Mike Smillie used to stand on the terraces with me in the 70's / 80's.... And yes Mike I do remember staying over at your house in Ipswich after a long away coach trip, but I also remember you booing JL when he came back with Halifax and was involved in that famous incident with Tim Hunt. I was embarrassed to be an Ipswich fan that night, when the returning hero was booed. Disgusting. Thank you SB. My job may be done, but you guys can take it to a new level.... just like a Supporters Club would have done. Owned by and run by. A great pity but I guess £ talks.... Hehe, no holding back now. If you want to PM me with any grievances, please feel free (or three, lol)
  3. Looks like another major asset to the Club considering moving on due to the terrible inter club relationship caused solely by Chris Louis who refused point blank to acknowledge the Massif at last week's Rye House match even though he was encouraged to "Give Us A Wave". The sooner he moves to grinning on Sky Sports the better for all I think. Totally jacked off with the way he, his dad and Mike Smillie (do not) run the Club. Thank you and Goodbye Chris Louis. We acknowledge you and your dad's great service to the Club, now do one please... If you can't be bothered to fix an errant speaker, or Smillie cannot be arsed to fork out of the Club coffers, solely for the benefit of your paying support, you are not fit to wear the promoter's hat at Foxhall Heath. Imagine JB not fixing something like that, immediately. (Pointed enough for you Baldyman, lol?)
  4. The treatment of Rider's sponsors at Foxhall these days is disgraceful. Thought you had left the Forum Baldyman or, after lewy's comment, you had spat your dummy and weren't attending Foxhall anymore and that the Rye House meeting was a one off? Now you are texting updates and buying a cow bell? Contrary, lol?! At least the little group that you had formed has recognition from BBC Radio Suffolk (thanks again Foz), has a moniker (thanks, er, oh yes, me.....) of "The 2016 Ipswich BSF Massif" and is starting to gain recognition from the other side of the fence, starting with Foz last week and carried on, by the sound of it, this week. My work here for 2016 is done. Moving back to trying to arrange sponsors for Cam's bike maintenance and replacement. Any businesses / individuals out there interested can either contact: https://www.facebook.com/CameronHeepsRacing or https://twitter.com/cameronheeps direct, or via me at: https://twitter.com/19macca56 . Thanks to: www.valentinoipswich.com (Ben and Adel), www,robinsonsmotorgroup.co.uk (Matt) and www.thewillshop (Ipswich) - (Tristen) for the interest shown so far.
  5. Been banned / gagging order so don't push it Baldy Won't be seen at Foxhall again SB. Good luck guys
  6. But the Berwick megaphone may be making the trip...... WINK! And what about that really freaky, Friday 13th style, guy dressed as a Bandit that (I think) I saw at Hoddesdon for that superb league meeting between the two teams? Now he would be worth kidnapping....? Mission accepted for the KO Cup matches between them later in the season, lol. So you guys have gone all dinky cow bells have you. Mmmmh, not really the image of the now famous Massif is it, eh lads? Think I may have to pop along and keep an eye on youz. Just in an observers role of course (and to keep Shads on the straight and narrow, of course, lol). I can see this one as a 45 - 45, but what the heck do I know and, have I actually sobered up since Mr Murray's victory on Sunday. Britain's greatest ever sportsman... possibly? As it appears we have lost out in nthe bidding competition ( so no renewable energy at Foxhall next season) I can now start saying what I really think of stuff. I mean really, really HKP and co.
  7. Yes, Shads, don't think I imagined that one either - turn a bout dependent on availability.
  8. You can get arrested for that on the Heath. Expect blue cow bells and blue balls allthegear, lol Saw Berwick at Rye House and they and their fans were a credit to their club and the sport. Nice megaphone too.
  9. I came into the competition with nothing and I leave the same way apart from benefiting from a great deal of enjoyment and a surprise that I lasted so long - just like my last girlfriend used to say to me... Thanks for the opportunity R&R, Best Wishes to those 8 remaining and I genuflect to the better man Mr Orlov.
  10. And me too sir, maybe limited primarily to Cam's heats but vfairly vocal and "in the pink". I could pretend to be a Bandits fan and try and pinch the Massif's megaphone whilst distracting them with my tennis, uni-cycling and harmonica skills. Cheap is always good if you are a Scotsman, Scotsman.... A blue cow bell? Oh well, I will have to come along to the Bandits visit and observe and record this phenomena (doo doooo do do do, phenomena) Blue is the colour, be it bells or balls it seems...?
  11. Spot on I think Baldyman. EDIT: By the By, I think the BSF Massif should claim some credit for not only Danny King's performance in Cardiff, but also for the reigning Olympic Champion's second victory in the Wimbledon Men's Singles Championship earlier today. If he hadn't had a periscope of me and Junior Beer Hut smashing it to all corners on Thursday, I really don't think a straight three would have been in his mind at all.
  12. Totally agreed T B. And, it is my understanding that currently there is one man and one man alone who holds the key to the future of Ipswich Speedway Club and that that man is John Louis. Unfortunately for some of the bids the deciding factor appears, again currently, to be £ and we all should know by now what that may lead to in 2017. In my opinion, CL made a mistake by loaning out both Rohan and Cam at the same time that upset the balance and continuity of the team. There is no doubt that they both did need to move away at some stage and, you cannot imagine that either will be battering down Mike Smillie's back door (oh er), to return to the Heath in 2017. In defence of CL, I had been informed that the Ipswich septet were always the best remunerated £ wise in the PL and that there is no doubt that, maybe apart from this season, CL's pre-season line ups stood up to most, if not all, the other PL team line-ups put together before the start of the season. CL may be open to criticism of how many riders have not improved under his promotion, and lets face it Chris should be one of the best advisers and coaches around, but he does not ride the bikes and, his frustration boiled over at Hoddesdon during the Cup match and that will have made the end of season decision that much easier to make. Ipswich, Suffolk and the World of Speedway owes the Louis' a great deal and we should never overlook the massive contribution that the family has made. A statue to John Louis should be a formality.
  13. Oh Danny Danny Danny Boy...... Yipeeeeeee Deserved British Champion. All round nice guy and now a British SGP Heat winner in his debut SGP. Seven poits from his last three heats. If only his pusher copuld have pushed a bit harder before his first two heats and wound up the elastic band a bit tighter, lol. Bruv of dontforgetthefueltapsbruv, you will be in for one hell of a night. Well done team. Proud of you all and a credit to British and Ipswich and Coventry speedway. You have to pick him now Mr Rossiter.......
  14. Well done Rohan Tungate. Back to Back Pairs Titles with different teams and different riding partners. Good on you, ya little beauty. I just waved my Wimbledon tribute tennis racquets at Danny King on the TV after his second successive second place in the British SGP and I swear he waved back, lol. Good luck with your Massif cow girl bell octet lads. Let me know when you have tuned up and perfected the William Tell or A Walk in The Black Forest and I will come along and join you with my harmonica - if anyone can tell me they have the blinkin thing. Really fed up losing stuff at Foxhall. First the cow bell / clanger and drumsticks to the Surrey Glasgow Tigers fans and now the harmonica that I am supposed to be learning to play before my 60th so that I can do a turn at my Six Oooooh Birthday Bash at the Manor Social Club and raise money for the Air Ambulance.......
  15. Can't see past, Hancock, NKI, Doyle & Woof for the final WITH NKI picking up a well deserved win ( apologies Niels, that's done your chances). That's not a tail......
  16. Thanks for the usual and gratefully received reminders. Thought I may just match Mr Olrlov's bet this round, but just remembered how crazy it was: Kildemand £100 lower on a spread of 0 to 1, lol, so am taking a plunge on my pre SGP Series title tip, NKI, who personally I feel is the classiest, smoothest rider in the current bunch if maybe a tad too fair - which isn't a bad thing, so: NKI £20 Over please R&R. Good luck to all the remaining BtB competitors, safe and entertaining meeting to all and thanks again to R&R for running and administering the comp so well. Hopefully, the homecoming Welsh Football team will not disrupt the SGP too much. EDITED after Heat 17: Well done Mr A Orlov, an inspired choice of Kildemand Under..... My choice - well, it stinks.....
  17. Just the hookers for me, or a BT Sport feed into Spearmint Rhinos. From a conversation that I had late last night, it looks as if I will be watching my speedway from the stands again next season and you boys will not have extra roles :-(
  18. Bell Ends with Blue Balls, not a great combo, to be found on the Heath in the evening. And there is a Bell Lane entrance too isn't there? Blown engine a couple of points from three rides in the experimental format and a very unhappy Pinjar Ninja. I would think "affirmative master" would be K9's retort Scotsman. Just got the Ipswich Star and their result for Heat 3 is: Risager, Lanham, Covatti Heeps and Mike Bacon's report is: "Morten Risager and Nico Covatti looked in trouble at the start of heat three as they were relegated to the back. But both got past Cameron Heeps, before Risager pipped Leigh Lanham on the line in a thrilling finish." Poor old Cam, not only relegated erroneously to 2nd by the referee on the night, but now relegated to last place by the Love Speedway man....?! And no mention of a possibly badly called result, whomever the riders involved were....?!
  19. Everywhere we go, People want to know Who we are And where we come from Etc.
  20. Looks like you have had your question answered young man. I get mine from www.music-world-ipswich.co.uk the very best music shop in Ipswich , staffed by the nicest most knowledgeable music crew in Suffolk, where I also got my 125 kazoos from (that should lead to a decent discount next time) Just to add, Cam was not riding his own motors last night, so an even more praiseworthy effort, having blown one i the closed meeting at kings Lynn on Tuesday.
  21. Meant to say, you guys missed it but Foz read out my text regarding you guys and tonight's meeting on his BBC Radio Suffolk Drive Time show after his pre-recorded interview with CL. The clip can be found on the following link at about 41:20 which continues into a short rendition of motorbiking and then a dedication to the Massif.; http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p03ylz65 Thanks again Stephen not just for reading out my text, but making the effort to bring that into the meeting and saying hello to and recognising us from the centre green. Really, really appreciated buddy. It is just such a shame that most of what you said drifted off into the Foxhall air, as the PA system, despite many requests, is still only 5% audible on "our" part of the back straight. CL, Mr Smillie, whoever, please, please sort it out. It diminishes the enjoyment level massively. Also, meant to mention that JJ confirmed that Eddie knocked him off in Heat 11. Just a gentle nudge, but enough to take the young reserve and very pleasant young man off. Maybe we can excuse Ed due to the ear infection that would've affected his balance. Oh, and if anybody finds they have my harmonica and / or recovers my original cowbell from the Surrey Glasgow giuys, please kust PM me as, unless you toddle along to a Rockets match, or we bump into each other at a shared event, then that is it from me for 2016.
  22. Well, this was my post from yesterday morning....../ Almost 24 hours on and also looking at the text I sent to Cam before the start of the meeting, I could be a right smug smug person, but I ain't like that. I like to think that I am neutral in all things speedway, with a bias toward Ipswich as I have seen them ride since 1969 (at Romford) and have visited Foxhall Heath for my home meetings from Sep 1975 to Apr 1985 with the exception of 1981 (Hull) and 1982 (Kings Lynn). After 23 Apr 1985 my interest in speedway has continued but without a team to support, but some riders, i.e. Dave Jackson, Glen Baxter, David Bargh, Chris Louis, Scott Nicholls, Mr Gollob and Jarek. From the moment Cameron Heeps dived inside Lewis Kerr in the KO Cup match at Foxhall, I have followed Cam and, as some of you will know, sponsor his methanol and other bits and bobs (mainly Bob). Tonight, I witnessed one of the most atrocious decisions that I have ever seen at a conclusion of a speedway heat by Referee Dale Entwistle, in Heat 3. Even the most ardent of Ipswich Witches fans (except for the guy in the green T shirt about three rows in front and five seats to the right of me with the two older people sitting to his right. Come on, honestly young man, do you really believe that Morten Risager clearly and fairly won that heat? Honestly? Not even now that you have gone home with a 3 point home win on the board? Really?) Cam and Steve Jenson were very phlegmatic about it afterwards and all credit to them for that, but imagine if that had happened in a televised fixture or, even more so, a Grand Prix round? What if someone like Nicki Pedersen had been in the Rockets No. 3 race suit? Anyway, moving on. So 10 points to the good after Heat 10, the Witches so very nearly threw it away, but they didn't, so well done them, but what was Sarj doing in Heat 15 Mr Hawkins, was he really your best bet to avoid a home defeat or draw? Ok he scored paid nine from his four, but those included a paid win over a sick (man and bike) Eddie Kennett in the opener, another paid win including beating Rob Branford, and another paid win after he had taken off Cam in the first running of Heat 10 - confirmed by the young Aussie after the meeting, and well pleased he was to have finished in front of Sarjeant in Heat 15 as a bit of "pay back". Not arguing with the result at all, as the Rockets were well worth their point especially carrying an obviously unfit Eddie Kennett (plus a sick bike in Heat 1). Robbo was consistent and strong as always (and what a nice bloke - good fortune in the Pairs later today). The friendly ghost was, after his first heat, superb at No. 2. Leigh was Leigh, just not quite there but an invaluable four points. The Reserves? Stand up lads, absolutely brilliant - as were the two Witches Reserves, both of whom were not happy with their pints scoring but who I told both of them should be proud and should be the future of Ipswich speedway. Great entertainment from the Massif and I got trounced by son of Beer Hut in our Wimbledon tribute match and massive thanks to Foz for saying hi and recognising us. Much appreciated buddy.
  23. The Ipswich 2016 BSF Massif has just had a great shout out on BBC Radio Suffolk from Foz (Stephen Foster) after his pre recorded interview with CL. Hope you heard it guys, if not it will be available on Play Back or whatever it is called for a week or so. Hopefully Foz will be there tonight and if he is I have invited him to join us. Missed getting Ed down tonight as he has a gig outside the University tonight and I haven't got time to pick up Kevin Beattie, so it is just me and my younger son Dean tonight as eldest son is working. Dean is travelling separately. Anyone know if the A14 / A12 are ok as just heard a bad traffic report on BBC Radio Suffolk about stationery traffic (is that pens and pencils) over the Bridge and toward Felixstowe? Will leave in 10 minutes. See you by the pits Shads if you are there otherwise on the back straight. Brother from another mother, drive safely in your time machine. BSF Ipswich Massif, lets do this. Anyone for tennis? Wimbledon tribute arriving shortly or is that shorty Baldyman? Hey Mr tambourine man. Yo Yo s at the ready. Beer Hut get your Blue Balls ready for sticky bat games....? Bruv of Bruv wax up your megaphone and siren. Pob - you know what is required. Just look like the man.. West Ham fans, hope you brought your own bubbles. SB, no need for an air horn tonight. Maracas supplied. Safe journey and meeting to all. A14 now sounding ok but A12 bad around Martlesham. Fingers crossed. Love and Peace.
  24. Good lad, take the initiative Chris. Nothing is gained in this life by procrastination. Good fortune, buddy
