Raiders V Buxton Mon 29th Aug -late Afternoon

Liked the idea of tracking Danyon as a Guest for the Double Header (which is not necessary now of course). He obviously has a soft spot for the Club and he was there on Monday, admittedly his Brummies team mate, Tom Bacon, was guesting for Berwick but he was still there in the crowd watching both meetings, eating the fish and chips, happily having pictures taken and generally just being a really nice human being, which he is. I am not a stats man, but Danyon's average increase this season must be as good as anyone's in the NL. Would he have done it with the Raiders? I doubt it, because a huge amount of credit has to be given to his mechanic Richard Maull, who of course is also Danny King's No.1 spanner man and he has been going quite well recently. Great rumour on Monday that Lakeside will be riding at Hoddesdon next season in the EL on a Monday night with the Rockets on the weekend....... Just about matches the Ipswich Witches running two teams next season, one in the EL on a Thursday and another in the PL at Mildenhall on a Sunday..... -
Birmingham: V Isle Of Wight Wed 31st Aug

May be worth keeping an eye on the heats in which Danyon and Kelsey line up against each other after their close encounter at Smallbrook last week :-) -
Rye House are at Sheffield on Thursday and the East of England as the first part of a Double Header on Sunday and the way they rode as a Team to pull back a 16 point deficit and defeat Berwick on aggregate in their KOC Quarter Final on Monday, it isn't impossible that they may take points off of either team. I understand that Danny is guesting for Eddie K, who is with Lakeside at Kings Lynn, at Owlerton. Good practice for the PLRC on 11th. Kenneth Bjerre's first outing for the Panters on Sunday. Is there any reason why there is no meeting at Foxhall this Thursday (fair enough last week with the cars on track over the Bank Holiday)? Was the date Reserved for a possible Cup match? Off to watch the Witches No.7 at Brum tonight in his return clash with Kelsey Doghard following their close encounter at Smallbrook last week. Taking his "Big Ed" for the trip too, then off to Owlerton on Thursday as there is this blank at Foxhall. It has been mentioned before, but is there any interest in a few of us travelling ti Redcar on 9th?

That doesn't sound too good SB. Did things not go too well, or is it simply a long recuperation? Always available to help in need buddy. Not sure if you have my mobile number, but please do just PM me in need. All the best El Presidente. I am happy to set up a Facebook page (and a Twitter Account, but I'm not the greatest at keeping up on that form of social Media). Let me know what you think. We probably have more info, chat and images already when compared to some FB pages I have visited.

Just had a thought (and now off to A&E as it cracked a rib..... ) Should the "Massif" have a Facebook Page, Twitter Account and Instagram thingy?

You can always jump on the track during Heat 2 and see how well Dynamite Dan (or "No Gap" as Kelsey Doghard has named him after an incident at the IoW) reacts and whether it hurts or not. Just don't go hurting our No. 7 though Baldy..... EDIT: Oh and by the way Baldyman, Dan hasn't had this trained out yet at poultec so it was his natural reactions and great sportsmanship that made him do it. You may not be so lucky as Ryan Douglas was after I point out those negative pre- Comets meeting.... lol.

If its as good as the PL fixture at Hoddesdon earlier in the season, I will be very happy. I guess we can't expect a coach party this time but it would be good to see as many Bandidos in the stadium as possible. Always provide mega (phone) support the Berwick fans and a pleasure to see them around the tracks as they are real speedway people. Having had my last three fixtures fall foul to the weather, I am hopeful that this one is on, that Emma's track side prep is appreciated and that the Pinjer Ninja and the Danish Friendly Ghost have a track prepared for them again so that we get to see some blasts from the back from two of the most entertaining riders in the PL. (Also hoping that Steve has completed the "Sponsors' Lounge" for this fixture, LOL LOL LOL.

Would like to know too as the bad weather never got to me apart from one cloudburst on the M4. I see that Sheffield was OFF too... -

Always likely to happen. I will struggle now to make the rearranged date but will see what I can juggle (usually a cricket bat on the end of my middle finger...)

If of any interest to anyone, I went back to The Abbey on Thursday (after my trip to Redcar V Ipswich was cancelled due to the weather) to see if I could find or retrieve my old faithful Steinlager baseball cap that I must have dropped on my circuit around the perimeter of the stadium to the entrance on my walk from The Jovial Monk (a must stay at place for any long distance visiting fans, or just for anybody that enjoys great accommodation, a friendly welcome from all the staff and locals, decent IPA and free parking for the stadium itself). Unsure who will be able to view this, but I took some snaps of the stadium on my tour around in my successful retrieval mission... https://www.facebook.com/neil.mcewan.735/posts/10153726773736850?pnref=story

Redcar Vs Ipswich Thursday 25th August
Reviresco replied to Pob's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Thank you for that boz, which means hat the Witches; season still ends on 15 Sep 2016 .... The same date as Rye House, I think... Yes thank you, the big Ed behaved itself impeccably, as you would expect from Alec Douglas. Enjoyed the seaside at Swanage Bay and enjoyed Smallbrook, apart from being "dumped" in his second ride for trying to go around an opponent. \But has been reminded that thye IoW areat Perr Barr on Wednesday. Good, good just PM me if you decide to buddy..... -

It is my intention Baldyman, but vthe weather forecast and my luck with the highways of Britain recently make me doubt my sanity. "Come On Danyon". "Big Ed" at the Ready and on Tour. DHR snapback purchased and worn. Kelsey Dugard not enamoured by Facebook comments of his manouvere at the IoW on Tuesday. Lol. It doesn't for Ipswich. Guess it is a "+_ / -" form guide table.
