Well done Somerset and in particular to Rohan and BWD, both seen as gambles by some at the beginning of the season, looking anything but now. Just shows what taking a gamble sometimes results in and also what changing your logo can do for a club - though I noticed at Rye House that the big Rebels flag is still being flown EDIT: Why do I always pick the duplicated Thread that no one else is posting on, doh. I thought the Thread was "Plymouth 2016", not specifically the vandalised air-fence? If you want bad taste, read "lewy"'s personal attacks on the Ipswich and Rye House Threads. Why "lewy" feels it necessary to continually post personal attacks I don't know, but he is obviously deeply troubled, jealous, bi polar and psychopathic. Anyway, the Devils have been offered the Ipswich Witches spare air fence panels until the end of the season by promoter Chris Louis, so immediate problem solved. The issue of criminal damage would be in the hands of the police and whilst contemptible, what is done is done and just reflects on the current state of society in Plymouth. Insurance would cover the cost of replacement, as I am sure that insurance would be in place. Nobody is stopping you from giving up. But you feel the need to keep the cauldron pot bubbling for some reason....

Strange decision, unless they are testing the water for Lakeside EL meetings at Hoddesdon on a Monday night next season.......

There / Their - expected better of you Dave. No trumpets being blown here, only at Foxhall Heath on race-nights, just genuine love for the sport backed up with some financial support wherever I can. The sport that I have been following since 1969 and then in 1971 when I first handed over some money to a rider - my weekly pay packet as a paper boy, to Charlie Benham at Romford. (Fact is if "lewy" kept his beak out and stopped proffering personal insults on various Ipswich Witches Threads, then he wouldn't be getting it back, which he can't cope with. Sorry, but if you dish it out...... At least he generates enough hot air and manure to keep the replacement fence inflated at no extra expense :-) )

A Devil doesn't hit an air fence at the same velocity as a Witch on vroom vroom broom, so should be fine.... They can always position "lewy" behind it for extra protection and if it needs re-inflating, he has enough hot air.

Thanks Guys. It's a start and obviously can be added to and expanded over time - or forgotten about and covered in cobwebs.... It is very much a put it together and see what it looks like and as I was doing this last night I was having another run in with "lewy" on the Plymouth Devils 2016 Thread. Massif congrats to Chris Louis for offering the Devils the Witches old air-fence to use for the remainder of the season.

I wasn't and do not see how that has been perceived from my Posts. I have absolutely nothing against the Plymouth Devils and feel as disgusted about what has happened as everyone else. As I said, I put my hand in my pocket to help out when the Devils were revived and would've done so again if necessary to contribute to the cost of repairing the airfence, but it appears that the Witches promoter has already answered the call and volunteered the old Foxhall air fence that was replaced at huge cost (£50,000) this season through generous contributions of club sponsors who are the life blood of the sport these days. For someone who can list twice as many defunct tracks that he has visited since 1969 than ones that are currently in use in Britain, I do not wish to see another speedway club suffer and certainly not close, even if it means track sharing as has been rumoured may happen at Hoddesdon next year with Lakeside riding there on a Monday fixed EL racenight...

I probably am, in all respects, especially trumpet blowing, but when the clown keeps sniping and then adopts a wounded animal doe eyed French Army pose, it is difficult. I have given "lewy" enough rein, enough to hang himself but he keeps snidely chipping away like a leaky tap dripping all over you and then chips in with a bit of personal abuse. Not at all. Not an argument at all. For some reason "lewy" has taken a personal dislike to me and another Ipswich Witches Supporter, Updates Texter and former Mechanic. And the vandalism has not been overlooked and, it appears, the Ipswich Witches Promoter has "come to the rescue" and offered Plymouth Devils the use of the old Foxhall Heath airfence for the remainder of the season. This won't stop "lewy" continuing his rant against me and baldyman of course. Pathetic, Ignorant, Jealous and Spiteful.

Danny King not doing too bad for a rider that pre-season hardly any Coventry supporter on here wanted in their Team particularly when classified as a HL. Well done Danny. Been a pleasure to watch you this season. British Champion plus SGP & SWC heat winner and your record at Foxhall currently is reasonably impressive.
