Stoke Outstanding Home Nl Matches
Reviresco replied to Mike.Butler's topic in National League Speedway
And it was. Not a bad effort from Dan - paid 11 Guesting at No. 1 and with a big meeting ahead on Monday. The honesty of the young lad shines through. -
Berwick V Rye House (7pm) 10th September
Reviresco replied to crescent girl's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Very pleased for Tom Perry. Birmingham have got a fantastic crop of young British talent there. -
Nice 11pt haul for the Witches No.7 Guesting at No. 1 for Stoke at Loomer Road versus Cradley tonight. Riding within himself with a big slab of fish to fry on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.

Plrc 2016....who's Your Winner?
Reviresco replied to Dcb7's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Haha, brilliant. I love your one liners. You don't get them in Workington though do you J? -
Good to hear El Presidente. If you don't make it round this Thursday either one of the waiters or the minion will bring you some of the buffet. Now where has my wallpaper table gone, surely I didn't chuck that too...?

Redcar Vs Ipswich Pl Friday 9th Sep
Reviresco replied to Pob's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
A real team effort from the 1 to 7 Steamroller that currently is the 2016 Ipswich Witches. Redcar Bears just did not have a chance. Enjoyable meeting as HT says and, whilst Danny is getting all the plaudits and JJ is pulling up trees in the PL and EL and Morten keeps getting big scores without you really noticing, I would like to pick out James Sargeant and Ben Barker as their efforts have been going unheralded and I do not think there is too much credit you can give BB for the team spirit that he has installed within the team. I was never a fan, sorry Ben, but you have totally won me over. Your demeanour both on and off track and in the pits is impeccable. And the No. 7, whatever his name is, is coming along quite nicely too, and still doing it with a big smile on his face, even when picked on by a big bully like Huge Skidmark, lol. Thanks to the ex skip for stepping in for Nico too. His Heat 12 with JJ sealed the deal last night. Always a pleasure Kevin. -
Dare the Witches Fans dream....? Forty Years on from the 1976 League and Cup Double and Pairs winning Team..... What a shame Panters v Rye House is rearranged on Monday. Already committed to Kent v Brummies. Maybe it will rain in the Fens, or the track prep goes awfully wrong like it did at the EoES for the Double Header that never was.

Eddie trying to lower his average for the start of next season now? Only Rider in double figures in the PL? -
It seems as though the Massif attracted a lot of big jealous kids.

You talk about saving bandwidth and then copy my post in full? Mmmmmh. If I'd wanted your opinion, I would have asked for it. You don't have to read anything, especially on a Thread devoted to something unique to Ipswich Supporters. No idea why anyone else has got involved in this? Oh yes, jealousy. Oh, and be amazed. Maybe I just have more personality and energy than you? Nobody asked you to, and clueless is probably correct. But if you were at Foxhall on Thursday, you would know. And when we get thanked in the local paper by our Skipper and in the programme by the Promoter and the Team Manager, it looks as if we are doing something right. Shouldn't expect you to grasp that though. I used to like your Posts. I wonder what happened? Is she. Mmmmh, well what's that got to do with this Thread? Another who jumps on other Posts for no reason and adds nothing. Forename says it all. Dave, if only you read what you wrote, the world would be a quieter and richer place. (Look forward to being at Brough Park again on 18th. Can't vouch for my silence then though...) And yes it does mean a lot to me Dave as without it, I wouldn't be involved in speedway Ask yourself, why did you get involved? Would you rather people not get involved? Oh no, then that would mean no sport at all. Mmmmmh. So, does anyone else want to jump in now, or can us Ipswich Witches Supporters who use the BSF now be allowed to get on with what we do? Oh and yes, there is a Facebook page now to, but I wouldn't go mithering yourselves about viewing that. May lead to more jealousy. And yes, it is all actually meant to be a bit of fun.

Ipswich Witches Vs Sheffield Tigers Pl Thurs Sep 8th
Reviresco replied to Pob's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Personally I think Dan came in at the right time and if he had directly replaced Darryl he wouldn't be doing what he is doing now. He had a few extra weeks of building up his confidence riding in the NL with Birmingham. I even think that in retrospect it was the right decision not to use him at Owlerton and to trial Jake Knight, even though that may have cost Ipswich the win. It shouldn't be forgotten that Dan was bought as a long term prospect and No. 8, but I don't think anyone could have foreseen the absolutely massif strides forward this very pleasant young man has made since the end of last season. -
I don't know why this Thread has drifted to Chris Morton, but going back to Kirky's OP, I was at this World Final too and travelled there on the Warners train from London and to call it the trip of a lifetime is an understatement and hugely enjoyed then by a nineteen year old. (And as an aside, today Billy Sanders would have been 61 if he hadn't taken his own kife aged 29. And tomorrow has been declared World Suicide Awareness Day.)

No, I meant on the PL part of the Forum and I managed it (at the time) and like the big child that I am, I took a Print of it and posted it on FB :-) Thought the Rocket Baboons went well tonight and I think everyone has bought into the idea of a Street Party style buffet next week. I'll see if I can get a gazebo in case it turns inclement and a BBQ or two so that we can do some hot food if anyone fancies it. A beer fridge may be good for the lager drinkers and some urns for the tea and coffees. I'll see if I can get that Indian waiter to make a reappearance too. Oh heck, another stalker in favour of poor old defenceless "lewy" who has never said anything nasty about anyone ever. Ok, risking a ban. F'ing Hell Gazc, go read what lovable "lewy" has written about me and baldyman on Ipswich Threads and then come back and either say it again or apologise. Alright! And as for tsunami, "lewy" and NEP liking your post, well they can take a long walk off a short pier too as they obviously have no idea how obnoxious "lewy" is ion here. You say I have the "fetish" - do you even know what that really mans Gazc?, well it is "lewy" who started all this with his childish remarks and constant stalking on Ipswich Threads which were totally uncalled for and unecessary but he couldn't help himself and cam back and had another personal dig and that is when I hit back. I am not proud of it, because in every way I am the bigger man than "lewy" but there you are. A bloke can only be pushed so far. "lewy" is so obviously jealous that I was once closely associated to a world class rider and am now a sponsor of two up and coming young speedway riders that it is suffocating him and making him into not a very nice person on here. So can I politely ask you, Gazc and tsunami and NEP to go and read the comments that "lewy" has written and then reconsider where your support should be. In need I can highlight "lewy"'s comments both about me and about baldyman if you cannot or do not want to find them. And as for meeting "lewy", I would love to and would have come and spoken to him at Plymouth when Rye House were riding there but Cameron missed the fixture as he got called up into the Roos U21 World Team Cup Final squad that weekend and was in Sweden. I don't know if "lewy" travels, but I may be at Rdecar tomorrow, Stoke on Saturday, Sheffield on Sunday, Kent on Monday, IoW on Tuesday, Foxhall on Thursday, Newcastle (yes Dave) on the 18th and Rye House on the 19th, so if he is at any of these please ask him to come and see me if he wants to as he seems so fascinated and in awe of little old ordinary bloke macca56. You indicate that you know "lewy" and that he is a nice chap. I have no doubt of that, but I think a lot of people liked Lord Lucan too. Maybe you should ask the people who know me at Ipswich, Rye House and Birmingham, or the two riders that I have been fortunate enough to part sponsor this season. I'm sure that they will all say the same thing. That I am a right c**t. Well that is what a certain Member on here called me in a Post and I haven't seen any contributions from him since. Maybe "lewy" should think on, if he wishes his BSF membership to be kept open without restrictions as some of the things he has written are well worth a ban. And that doesn't take into account his constant sniping on the Scunthorpe threads either. Maybe he just needs to grow up a little and accept that there are different people around than him and not get jealous of them and resort to stalking, sniping and personal insults. Why the F do you think that I have changed the wording of my signature like I have? Because I want to goad "lewy"? Oh dear, it is in response to his constant immature whining, whimpering and personal insults. I am sorry that I knew an international speedway rider as well as I did and occasionally talk about it when people ask me to. And I am sorry that I have been fortunate enough to bit sponsor two 20 year old speedway riders. I wish I had never done it if it offends "lewy" so much. NOW PLEASE LEAVE ME ALONE, THANK YOU. EDIT: Edited to say, Billy would have been 61 today and it was nice to see a small bunch of flowers left by someone on the tribute to him in the Foxhall pits last night. When I saw it, I was too upset to take a picture, but the minion did. I don't know if they have ever held it before, but coincidentally it is World Suicide Awareness Day on Saturday and they are making a particular point about the numbers of male suicides that occur these days and they are linking this through into Movember which, I am sure you all know was started up to highlight men's health issues, including mental health issues, and to get men talking as they are notably bad at talking about their problems. As part of this, they are asking as always for people to grow taches but also this year to "Move" for Movember and raise money that way and I have signed up for this if anyone is interested at all in sponsoring me, please ask for the page details. I am alos doing a marathon in September for the BHF, again if anyone is inteersted at all please just ask for details.

No idea, sorry, just know that Dan is Guesting for the Potters after riding for the Brummies at home on Wednesday, for the Witches at Foxhall on Thursday, at Redcar on Friday and before riding against Kent on Monday and for a Lions U23 Select at the IoW on Tuesday and at Foxhall again on Thursday. Busy lad. -
Redcar Vs Ipswich Pl Friday 9th Sep
Reviresco replied to Pob's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Was going to the original staging but can't do this one due to a very important meeting with an ex employer at 12:30 which scuppers any hopes of getting there in time and, by the looks of the forecast, we may have to wait a wee while longer yet for the result of Bears v Witches PL 2016. EDIT: Just refreshed all that and it "only" takes 5 hours according to Google Maps and the forecast is no rain until 23:00.... but I'm not driving that far again on my own, so no. -
If you run on a weekend next year, you would be unlikely to get James Shanes to ride for you with all his grasstrack commitments.
