  1. CL of course, not the dear departed JL, apologies...
  2. 23 April marks 40 years since Billy's tragic passing, and 09 SEP, would have been his 70th birthday, but ofcourse, he remains always 29yo. Wonder if we could get a 'superstar' meeting to mark the dates? Pairs, Individual or 16 Lapper. I think I'll ask JL. Nothing ventured, eh?!. Maybe ask Ed Sheeran to stump up some prize money.
  3. Like the look of the 1-7 on the website and can only see Sheffield and , hopefully not, injuries, stopping the Witches winning a much deserved premiership trophy 🏆 this season.
  4. We'll, why not invite them then? If you don't ask you don't get...
  5. And leaving the stadium to "A walk in the black forest". Very evocative for me that piece of music, but understand the club can't use it anymore due to licencing restrictions, or similar. 'As long as we know'...
  6. Yeah got fed up with all the negativity, threats and "boy's club" sentamentality. Guess that you'd know more about "happy endings" than I would, Tsunami?
  7. A bit late, but I'd like to add my Congrats to all at Foxhall for a massif first season back in the top league. Particularly to Cameron who, as I predicted pre season, had a stellar year and nearly fulfilled all the promise that most level headed speedway fans knew he possessed. From "Burger Chump" according to some who should know better to Rider of the Year, Bonus Point King and Pinjar Ninja. I can't see how Ipswich can ride without him next season, but this is speedway. Hope to see you all around speedway next season, health and other things permitting. All the best to all my friends in speedway. Cam, Drew, Danyon, Danny & Stefan - your sponsorship money will be with you at the start of 2020.i
  8. Hello mate, long time no speak.  Congrats to the Robins.  You must be thrilled.  I didn't see one meeting this season having had to follow via the Star and local papers.  I am currently in Norwich (Catton Ward) Northside House NR7 0HT.  I have been diagnosed with prostate cancer and start my treatment on 26th when I go to Norfolk & Norwich Oncology Dept.  I am hoping to walk a marathon on 13hrs next weekend to raise money for: i) Prostate Cancer UK; ii) SU2C and iii) Go Fund Me to cover my treatment and transport costs.  Any help you can add to raise awareness of my attempt would be appreciated mate.  People can donate to i), ii) or iii) or any combination of them.

I have £750 (including your £250 from 2 years ago to give to Danyon and have also helped Cam Heeps, Drew Kemp, Danny Ayres and Stefan Nielsen out this season.

Hope you are well and to hear from  you again soon,  All the best for now, Neli

  9. Well, for what it's worth, I like it - then I always have...
  10. Play Offs here we come. Really like the look and balance of the 1 to 7
  11. Bit late, but a warm welcome to KP. A good inclusion in the Coven and could easily fill the third H/L role.
  12. And the Nicholls transfer did not complete with Horton receiving and keeping half the agreed fee if my sauces are correct... Tomato, Brown, Worcester and their mate May O'Naisse
  13. Nothing wrong with being prudent you snob
  14. Personally, I prefer it to last longer than 30 minutes, but each to their own Trees, and most of my ex GFs preferred it over in 30 seconds, which it often was lol.
  15. Thanks Lewy. That's appreciated and indeed Bruv, let's move forward and hope for a bright future both for speedway in general and the Witches in particular. It would be Latin and is the family clan motto. Hopefully, you may see it on a few raceuits next season - if I don't go bankrupt again, lol, and I get my A into G. We all have opinions and I recognise that my style and humour didn't suit everyone. Apologies to all that I ticked off. Onwards and Upwards, eh?
  16. Welcome to the Coven, Son of God. Well pleased with that. Now for the rabbits...
  17. As I said earlier Gav. Cam has been on a strict diet and has been working with a personal trainer since he landed in WA. He will be fitter than 2017 and sharper both mentally and physically than ever before. I can see him achieving a 6 in the 2019 PL and a 9+ at Edinburgh plus a CL riders rostrum
  18. Agreed Baldy and stranger things have happened down Foxhall Heath - if I remember right, you used to tolerate me and rumours are that you smiled once. Can't really see it though, can you? Preben Eriksen though, now that's a different matter.
  19. Thanks Gazc. He does appear a very nervy strange type of fellow. Arch is another to be wary of as he tells libelous porkies. And before anyone shouts, yes I have changed my my Screen Name to fall in line with my new business venture.
  20. Noooooooooooooo! Yessssss. I'm back Lewy and if you keep your prejudiced, massif konk out of my business, we will get on fine. I'll even buy you a fizzy pop when Leicester visit the West Country.
  21. Reviresco Racing 2019

    Stable of Riders TBA

  22. Thanks Bruv. I didn't know that as, as you can appreciate, it is difficult to keep tabs on speedway matters where I am currently residing, lol.
  23. Cam to be announced tomorrow then. Keep the faith boys and girls (and Arch Stanton) CL has a hat with kroliks in. There is no way that the real Witches owner would allow a sub standard team and, IMHO, the Witches should have new faces in for their renewed assault on the top division. Remember the unknown young Aussie who arrived here in 1972 and won his first two heats in British speedway after a few practice skids around the track on borrowed equipment. Gems are out there still. It may be the hope that kills you, but it is also what keeps us alive. Chatting with Drew on social media, I am more concerned that his future is NOT certain with the Witches, and he has turned down an invitation to a sponsors day at Heath Road hospital as he "doesn't know what he's doing". I fear we may never see him in a Witches racesuit again so hopefully Guy is wrapping up the likes of Jenkins on long term agreements as the future of British speedway riders is bright, again IMHO only.
