Disappointing to see Ipswich riders giving up so easily and trailing behind. Could be reported for not trying or not even look as if they were trying. KLS were up for it and went out determined. Hope Cameron will be ok. What should have been a cracker of a meeting turned out to be a damp squib apart from Danny King. Great 10+1 from R/R for Robert Lambert.

Back in the day you started and ended with same team. Will be sad to see any of the Stars go.

I will never understand why the play offs ever started. To me in 'the old days' back in 60s 70s whoever was top of the league at the end of the season were the winners. That is how it should still be IMO I cannot stand all the individual meetings where riders who go through the field unbeaten have to be penalised by having to race against another 7 riders when that rider should be called champion. The same goes for any meetings where this happens.

Riss looks to be a rider to get stuck in but a little scary. I felt he hampered RL in first race and was a little over keen. Fingers crossed he will settle in hopefully become a team player.

We dont live down the road. It is a journey of 30 miles for us. Sometimes we just get there at start of first race so a 7.30 start means we could miss first race or two.

we just go and enjoy the speedway. don't worry if there is an interval or not. I do agree though that the 14/15 race could do with less time between but hey ho just the way it is and heat 15 was worth waiting for on Wednesday night.

1st race always starts at 7.45 pm 7.30 is parade time.

People could do what we have done and put our money for tonights' called off meeting in a pot to help cover costs of more than one meeting if it comes to that. After last years fiasco with damp conditions when Poole were at Lynn, we do not want to go down that road again lol

Well, we are just going to go and support the team whatever, we just want to see speedway. Cannot go bowling any more Star Lady as I have arthritis in my fingers. Use to bowl in winter when speedway finished.I think we had 6 teams consisting of 4 people back in the day when I lived in Newcastle. I have adopted the Stars as my team and if I had to choose on the night between 10 pin or speedway I know what I will choose. Speedway will always come out top. At 70 years I am not interested in the whys and wherefores and all the technicality. Been watching speedway since 1964 and would be very sad if I couldn't get to a meeting or if it closed down. Just want to see the lads racing and winning hopefully but it is not the end of the earth if they lose. We will still be there the following week/s.

Double header on Thursday according to Buster on his report for KL on facebook.

Robert had ultra scans on his knee, rested it with heat and ice treatment too. His leg is still heavily strapped up. Kudos for him for giving it a go. He couldn't have ridden in the second meeting against wolves as his knee was very swollen. Congrats to Robert for riding through the pain barrier and becoming European U21 Champion. He is not a rider to give up and he gives his all when he races whoever it may be for. Oh and yes..... I am biased !!

So I guess you wouldn't want him riding for PP then. Love to see RL working his way through during a race if he misses the gate. He is a joy to watch. Gate and go can be boring, would much rather see good racing between riders. Get off his back and leave him alone.
