  1. Hope Hans can go out there and show the form he's had all season again. Got a few hard heats but the way he riding he can beat anybodie. He got gate 2 twice, anyone know what the gates like round Malilla, but its his home track in Sweden so he should no it like the back of his hand and got some good points in the world cup on the track.
  2. When Hans is riding dirty, which i admit he sometimes does do, i cant say i enjoy it much either. I dont think that what speedways all about. I think he has grown up looking up to riders like Nicki and yes he has been dirty in the past but i do think people pre judge him for who he is and dont give him a fair chance He to is a really great guy, ive spoke to him and he's really friendly and tonight on sky his coments about Crumpie showed what a nice guy he is. I think one of the reasons speedway is so great is that you can go and talk to the riders unlike football and really feel apart of it. If you are respected by the fans and other riders then i do think it helps make them the riders they are. They need to go out there and enjoy themselves otherwise they not gonna get anywear.
  3. I dont have anything against him personaly as i no he is a really nice guy. He took time to chat to the fans down Wolves and even put this little kid on his bike to have a photo. I've met him a couple of time and got a pic of us all having a laugh together so out of speedway i think he is a great guy its just his actions on the track that im not a huge fan of.
  4. Have to agree he is by far the best Brit out there at the moment and i think he sould be racing hard because he needs to get some pionts but it was Greg who should have been in that final tonight and i know Scotty was not gonna let him through but if he can call Hans a dirty rider for what he did to Bomber than he really needs to look at himself. Good on him for getting into the top 8 but i would like to see him get there on his own merit next time not a poor ref desision.
  5. Personally i think Scotty is a good guy who deserves to get something out of his racing, dont think he will ever be world champion standerd but i think with the work he has put in deserves something more than getting a wild card year after year. I think though he totally needs to change his attitude. In the world cup he was the first one to stand up and have a go at the Danes when they didn't even do anything wrong but he finds it ok to go round knocking riders off and cutting Greg up, who deserved it far more tonight than Scotty. He needs to get over any problems he has with anyone and consontrate on his racing. He needs to lightern up and enjoy himself, otherwise whats the piont. Love him or Hate him he is a top class rider but the question still remains, will he ever be able to go all the way and really turn the speedway world upside down?
  6. Well done to Jason once again showin that he can pull it out the bag no matter what the odds but Scotty should not have been in that final, dont no where they are getting these refs from. I no Tony is a top class ref but firstly the world cup and now this. Scotty clearly pushed Matej and should not be let off just because his British. I hope he qualifys in the top 8 course he's the best we got and he did do well to come second in the final i cant take that away from him. Glad Hans got third and thought he spoke very well about Jason on sky and once again proved what a top class rider he is. Would have liked the tital race to be closer but Jason deserves it this year but im sure Hans will be hot on his heals next season!
  7. So does that mean that a rider not in the grand prix full time can qualify. As surly they cant not allow him through if he did finish in the top 8. Still slightly confused.
  8. It does look like a really exiting meeting. Nicki and Hans will be out to beat the other and with nicki winning it the last god knows many times he wont want to loose his title. Then you have the likes of bjarne, puk, charlie and kenneth. Anyone can win it on the night, Its gonna be a good one.
  9. I also think nicki is a great rider, he to is world class, but in the elite league ave hans is 2nd 10.55 and nicki 7th with 9.64 so i think at the mo hans is goin betta, Nicki gp dippin aswell wear as hans won his last one. Do think nicki has alot to come yet though.
  10. Hans is definatly the fittest rider out there and in my opinion at this moment in time the best in the world, he's beat crumpie twice so thats tellin you something. If there was a total disaster and he did not qualify i think they would seed him anyway, they would have to after what happened this year, hell would break out.
  11. mark was not in the grand prix full time that year, but back then they gave the wild card to who they wanted each round not tacking into acount what country they from, so anyway mark ended up ridin in all but 1 of the grand prixs that year ending up about 4th in the standings, hope thats helped
  12. oh rite, is there a rule or summit saying only the 15 can qualify? i guess it does make sense, not that he would really have any chance anyway. Just wishfull thinking.
  13. I was looking at the current grand prix standings and currently leigh adams is in 8th place with 46 pionts. If hans wins the next 2 he will be 75 pionts surly puting him in the top 8. I no it is unlikely that he will finish in the top 8 but if tony is sidelined and there are other injuries you never no. I think he really deserves the grand prixs he getting this year as it must be a small consolation for not getting in full time. He is on top form and if, by some mirical, he did finish in the top 8, it would make certain people look very stupid.
  14. Tony will always be remembered as the greatest speedway rider of all time but i agree he should have gone out on top, but i guess he wanted a go at beating the record for world championships. Its a shame we have had to see him riding like this and that we didn't get to see him in the world cup. Hope Hans can go out and get another win, defenatly goin to finish above pepe and probably the brits aswell, he deserves it but a shame its at tonys expence
  15. People do forgett about it when the brits are ridin dirty, when Lee cut up bjarne nothing was said, Scott and the lads clearly thought it was fine to dish it out, but could not take it when they wear being riden hard. They talk the talk but cant back it up on the track wear as the danes can. Used to like Scotty but my opinion of him is going down fast.
