  1. Couldn't agree with you any more, the racing has been of poor quality for some time now because of this insistance on slick tracks. I got a free copy of the series from last year after finishing as top lynn fan in fantasy speedway but i havent even unwrapped it yet as i thought the whole series was pretty poor. Lets get some dirt on the tracks and let the boys race.
  2. Wouldn't want Nicholls back now in this country. If he is happy to say he doesn't need this country, then we certainly don't need him, an absolute embarrassment in the gp tonight. I'm sure people will still defend him and Scott is entitled to ride where he likes but what is that saying about not biting the hand that feeds you. For me personally he has let the country down not riding here, after all it is his home country. His comment before the first gp about not having enough meetings going into the series still makes me chuckle.
  3. 1. Davey Watt (Australia) - (3,3,3,3,1) 13+3 2. Jarosław Hampel (Polska) - (3,3,1,3,3) 13+2 3. Antonio Lindbaeck (Szwecja) - (1,3,3,3,2) 12+3 4. Fredrik Lindgren (Szwecja) - (2,2,3,2,3) 12+2 5. Chris Harris (Wielkiej Brytania) - (1,1,3,3,3) 11 6. Martin Smolinski (Niemcy) - (1,3,2,2,2) 10+3 ------------------------------------- 7. Damian Baliński (Polska) - (2,2,2,2,2) 10+u 8. Matej Kus (Czechy) - (3,1,0,1,3) 8 9. Niels Kristian Iversen (Dania) - (3,1,2,u,1) 7 10. Kjastas Puodżuks (Łotwa) - (0,2,0,1,2) 5 11. Edward Kennett (Wielka Brytania) - (2,2,1,0,d) 5 12. Richard Speiser (Niemcy) - (1,0,2,1,0) 4 13. Filip Sitera (Czechy) - (2,0,1,1,u) 4 14. Mathieu Tresarrieu (Francja) - (0,0,1,2,d) 3 15. Max Dilger (Niemcy) - (0,1,0,0,0) 1 16. Marco Gregnanin (Włochy) - (0,d,0,0,1) 1 Big well done to Harris on qualification and nice to see Lindback in the top 3. Unlucky to Eddie.
  4. sorry thought it was like the gp series with the rider who has the most race wins finishes higher
  5. Even if Smolinksi wins Harris just needs to finish 2nd as this will tie him with Balisnki and Harris will beat him as he has more race wins, i think
  6. Harris definately looks good to go through now, Kennett on the other hand has problems.
  7. Im gonna go with Harris to scrape through but i think Kennett may miss out now, some tough heats left. Looks certain that Watt, Hampel, Lindabck and Lindgren will go through. Im gonna go with Harris and Iverson as the final two.
  8. Looking at who is in the GPs next season and as mentioned before you can safely say it wont be a Polish or Danish rider. Think it is also safe to say at least 1 British rider will be in the line up but as we are no longer the major force on the international scene that we use to be cant see us having two. My four picks would be Nicholls, Saifutinov, Holder and Lindgren.
  9. Im a lynn fan and have never liked Nicki Pedersen and never will like him. He causes far to many accidents through sheer stupidity whilst also managing to get decisions his way by throwing his bike to the floor (and im not just talking about tonight). I really do hope he bombs out in the final and then part justice will be done for me but not full justice. As for the referee i dont really want to comment on that. Absolutely ridiculous.
  10. I think the match at Kings Lynn was rode on a particularly rough track and Mark Loram pulled out after one race but apart from that I cannot remember the score but I belive the Aussies won quite comprehensively
  11. I can remember a couple of matches the 1997 Craven Shield Q-Final between Kings Lynn and Ipswich and the KO Cup Q-Final between Kings Lynn and Sheffield last season. Both crackers in my eyes even if the result didnt go our way both times.
  12. Im relatively young (20) so cannot remember back in the days of the 60s but how about a Kings Lynn team Tony Rickardsson Jason Crump Leigh Adams Mark Loram Henka Gustafsson Terry Betts Michael Lee and probably a lot more who i cant think of at the moment
