But has any rider actually ever been prevented from earning a living due to the asset system? All I see here are clubs jockeying for position so they receive the most (in Peterborough's case) or pay the least (in Swindon/King's Lynn's case) for the riders they want.

When a rider "signs" for a club as an asset, what exactly are they signing? You say they are not tidied to am contract, but I'm not so sure. If it did go to court I'm sure the taxman would also be interested in the self-employed status of riders, who are clearly not self-employed and of course should be employees of their respective clubs.

I appreciate you are allowed a guest if the rider has a clash with their PL club, but what if they are injured, otherwise unavailable or are riding overseas - do you get a guest or do you have to use your #8 or a 6pt PL rider? Kennett's Final Averages 2007: 7.11 2008: 7.29 2009: 7.72 2010: 6.63 2011: 7.84 2012: 6.25 I think it's fair to say he the potential to be a point better than is average at the end of last season, even if you ignore 2011.

If Wolves sign Lindgren and Woffinden then it's mathematically impossible to fit Klindt in at reserve (so they may a well let us have him)
