  1. What absolute nonsense. Anyone who moves close to an existing motorsports stadium should reasonable expect the facility to operation within the boundaries of their planning permission. If they flaunt that, then the resident is perfectly entitled to complain about the noise.
  2. I cannot imagine any possible scenario where Holder isn't riding for Poole next year.
  3. Why would Swindon sell their only heatleader asset who actually wants to ride in this country?
  4. If you had to pick two from those three for a full season in Britain, you'd pick Holder and Ward all day long.
  5. I "think" they assumed less meetings would somehow tempt more riders back? The problem is, for all the riders tempted back (Jonsson and Lindgren so far), the same number of riders have dropped out. There has also been the idea of job-sharing banded around, but no team seems to be seriously considering this.
  6. Tis better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all.
  7. If we're going to roll the dice on a Pole, then there are far better options than Miedzinski. Kasprazak immediately springs to mind, but if we're going all out why not try and tempt Janusz Kolodziej back for a season?
  8. The only rider who might not get a place is Janowski and he will more than likely sit out the EL to concentrate on the GPs if he's not picked by Poole.
  9. True, but last year proves you need a strong top end, the two teams with the strongest headleaders, Poole and King's Lynn, finished first and second. We can pack our team with 6-pointers, but without two, preferably three, out and out headleaders we will struggle badly.
  10. Where are we going to magic (haha, see what I did there) the riders up from?
  11. Talk of Nicki Pedersen and Sayfudinov is pure fantasy. Ward and Holder will be at Poole, Iversen, Bjerre and Schlein at King's Lynn and Doyle at Leicester. That leaves Lakeside, Leicester and Wolves each needing a heatleader and we need two. Take out the riders we know who aren't available, B Pedersen, Woffinden and Bridger. It is likely Kildemand won't be back either. Now look at the riders available. There are only three with an average over 7, Janowski, Batchelor and Pawlicki - to go around five clubs and chances are Janowski won't ride for anyone other than Poole in the EL There is no guarantee Batchelor will be back at Swindon. Personally, I wouldn't be surprised if Leicester don't get their chequebook out and sign him. So either Swindon need to trawl the continent for the likes of Kasprazak, Lindback and Sundstrom or we'll struggle to get anywhere near the points limit.
  12. Belle Vue don't have trouble putting a good team together on paper. It's riding their motorcycles round in circles they seem to struggle with.
  13. Fair enough. How about Nicklas Porsing (5.68), Kim Nilsson (5.63), Kenneth Hansen (5.50), Ryan Fisher (5.39) or even Peter Karlsson (6.12) What a secondstring Karlsson would be!
  14. Every promoter in the EL will be swiping right on Michelsen's Tinder profile. Let's hope Rosco has some sexy pictures to entice him.
  15. When you look at the teams who still require heat leaders and the number of riders available, there's going to be some very weak sides next year. If Leicester, or anyone else for that matter, pip us to Batchelor's signature, then we'll be one of them.
  16. I reckon Leicester could put together a half-decent side if they get their act together: Jason Doyle (8.44) Troy Batchelor (7.58) Przemyslaw Pawlicki (6.75) Mads Korneliussen (5.95) Szymon Wozniak (5.00)
  17. 29th in the Polish averages. One behind Gollob and ironically 3 places ahead of a certain "world class" Freddie Lindgren. http://www.sportowefakty.pl/zuzel/enea-ekstraliga/statystyki/2014
  18. Which type of visa is this applicable to?
  19. Have you got a link to that? If they are self-employed, how can they be restricted to only one "employer"?
  20. Why do people think Holder and Ward won't both be back at Poole?
  21. I think regardless of whether Ward is available, Poole have a potential championship winning side: With Ward: Holder (8.75) Ward (8.70) Pawlicki (6.75) Fricke (4.84) Masters (4.93) Without Ward: Holder (8.75) Janowski (7.50) Pawlicki (6.75) Zengota (6.16) Fricke (4.84)
  22. Tier 1: Leicester, Wolves, Lakeside, Swindon (Poole, Coventry, KL and Belle Vue had protected riders) Tier 2: Wolves, Poole, Swindon, Coventry, Leicester, Belle Vue, King's Lynn (Lakeside had a protected rider)
  23. Doyle's average is high (8.44) because he rarely finished behind a teammate and therefore didn't pick up many bonus points, only 10 in a whole season. Batch/Kildemand averages are both 7.58, but when you compare their average with bonuses (both 8.42), they are very similar to Doyle's which is 8.67. Therefore Doyle's average is inflated by virtue of being part of a poor team at Leicester.
  24. Doyle also has a high average due to riding in a very poor Leicester side. His average with bonuses (8.67) is only very slightly higher than Batch/Kildemand (8.42)
  25. Because they both have lower PL averages than the top draft riders.
