  1. Did well for Edinburgh who were probably worst affected by the farce that was rising stars, yet Monarchs still made the play offs and cup final. It's probably a boon to the team allowing a more balanced line up this time around. Dunno where the Cook dreams are coming from & i would be surprised if the Norwegian comes over as his stock has fallen in the 2 years since he was signed. Be interesting to see which improvers Edinburgh can sign - unearth.
  2. Wells was always poor in the money heats while at Edinburgh, if it wasn't so well known he was Glasgow bound in 2020 most people doubted he was back as a Monarch. but yes Cook Masters are the types you want when the money is on the line.
  3. Wells was poor in 2019 when it was an open secret he was off to Glasgow next season. It was assumed that explained his poor form, looks like he's just on the way out. For a team with the "resources" of the Tigers Wells was an odd signing given hoe poor he started 2019.
  4. Another example that just raw talent isn't enough in professional sports.
  5. Club legend? First go around certainly but for the last 3 years he's been a waste of space even if he was the cheap option. With his talent a 3.87 ave is nothing but an insult to the fans.
  6. not on about efs, just setups and lack of power
  7. Poor machinery as usual as he has been told so often. For his talent he should be a heatleader.
  8. was puzzled why glasgow signed them in first place, neither have done what's expected last few seasons
  9. Beware you don't pop a valve, might be a bit of a blow out.
  10. I'm sure there will be better matches for your season ticket sabs, as for the track alterations on the tracks like hull and exeter which were all around pitches like berwick any attempts to produce a smooth track or "improve" the shape always ended by being reverted as it turned the tracks into gating strips.
  11. And i remember one rider known for his visits would stand there waving his arms asking how the refs kids were, it used to be part of the show. But with sgp things have become too serious
  12. For years they have and they dont learn, same old Lawson underperforms till end of season
  13. Not far off, Good performance, even the good William Lawson turned up and it's not the last few matches of the season.
  14. Never had a problem at Edin ;) must be the Weegie smog. Even if Cookie had been in form, that KL team is pretty poor, amazed that Proctor even still rides in the UK.
  15. Its all about set up - home riders are more prone to being thrown if the home track is totally alien to what they expect. Plus if the entry of the bends are a lot slicker then turning the bikes becomes an issue.
  16. Seeing the black streaks i doubt anyone could on that track, especially a rookie, if he hadn't collected Andersson it looks like he was gonna spin out. It looked like reading on a sunny sunday afternoon - eastie always was deep when swindon were there.
  17. off night with not the ggreatest team at the dale in a tie that seemed a done deal i guess had something to do with it.
  18. That's him screwed then, looks like Lawson still hasn't learn't his lesson, if his old man is back in the picture won't be long before Lawson is released.
  19. Nice win against a team always in the hunt at the dale. Interesting to see if #2 has turned the corner, maybe the clutch failing explains the poor start.
