  1. Barker yes but in Chris’s case I think you’ll find it’s his safety air vest which makes him look larger. If you see him without his race suit he is no bulkier than before.
  2. £5 for secure car park attached to stadium which would probably be easier for you.
  3. Totally agree….. he was in attacking mode in both his exclusions and all over Morley (but no way through) when he scored his zero.
  4. It may prevent casual call offs but unscrupulous teams could manipulate an abandonment to secure an otherwise unachievable point…lol.
  5. Re. Worrall’s problem………he tried to indicate to Robert just before the start that he thought Bomber was encroaching on his gate. Don’t think Robert saw him complaining though. No rider has a right to aggressively remonstrate with a starting marshall so I would hope that he’d be fined.
  6. I’m sure the Facennas will be taking heid of your expert advice as I assume it’s by listening to people like you that they’ve made their multi millions……..lol. You really do come across as a know all.
  7. Should this not be on last night’s meeting thread?……….anyhow, I don’t know how you missed seeing the track being watered……
  8. I’ll be happy with a Tigers home win tonight……but that ain’t guaranteed by any means. Wish I wasn’t a “glass half empty” kinda guy…..lol
  9. Ok Z. I’ll leave it with you. Do please apply for the job of recruiting riders for next year so we can be guaranteed all the trophies. lol
  10. I have absolutely nothing against you having an opinion……it’s the incessant repeated posting of that same opinion that gets on peoples proverbials ……. Oh….and you say there are plenty riders out there to sort out the Tigers team. Just tell me who they are, what average they will come in on and what rider/riders you would drop to accommodate them?
  11. O….M….G We heard you the first time…..umpteen posts ago. You seem to think you are going to make things change by keeping saying the same thing OVER and OVER and OVER again. If your obsession is to win everything that’s going, it’s maybe time to support another team. The team Glasgow put together was impressive in most peoples eyes and was relying on a few riders improving on their starting average. Unfortunately, Lee has not reached the level expected but where do we go from here? Please tell us exactly what you would do right now…….who would you drop and who would you sign to resolve the situation.
  12. Plus it was the start of the Glasgow Fair holiday. I was actually dubious about making the 50 mile round trip due to the predicted weather forecast. I wonder how many more were put off by that? Turned out there was no rain whatsoever at the stadium.
  13. Yeah, I think we all expected him to make a bigger leap forward this year than he has so far. Seemed to have much more fight in him last year.
  14. Aye, let’s stuff the kids (the future supporters by the way) who really enjoy the centre green race just because you’re bored for 15 minutes of your life……..SELFISH!
  15. Yup, Connor did it when it mattered and was running last rounding bends 1&2………what a fabulous race to watch.
  16. Aye…..and one of the longest huffs in creation. Naeb’dy’s askin you to like the Tigers, the Facennas or Cami Davie but you’ve still got to come on here every so often and bleat about them. If you don’t enjoy speedway at Glasgow then why bother, just give up your interest in it. It’s no’ all about winning trophies.
  17. I would certainly prefer if you stuck with Edinburgh as it seems all the teams you’ve supported in the past are now defunct….so all us happy fans up here are quite glad you can’t stand Glasgow….lol..
  18. Still banging the same drum in nearly every post you submit. Please read what others are saying about the consequences of making a change. I’m quite sure Glasgow have their eye on the ball and if they could make an improvement by changing the team, I’m pretty certain they would.
  19. To be honest, I’ve never really got the thing about team managers having a massive influence on performance. I would say Glasgow’s team presently consists of extremely motivated riders. It’s not like they’re not trying their best so don’t see what difference a different manager would make. There’s a lot of Cami haters on this forum, so I doubt you will get an overall fair opinion.
  20. Honestly, thought it would be really tough going tonight but didn’t see this coming. Shocking display by us….shocking track as far as racing lines are concerned and shocking entertainment value all round. My immediate reaction was to refrain from attending the “no chance” second leg…..BUT…..I will attend…..because I’ll be assured of some fantastic racing and a fabulously entertaining evening. Borefests with silverware?……or “real racing” at Ashfield?……..I know what my preference is………
  21. I'm not disagreeing with you……was just asking who you would consider as “out and out” no1 that you say we really need. You’ve answered with Cookie who I absolutely loved having at Glasgow but certainly wasn’t unbeatable latterly.
  22. Who would you have chosen as an “out and out” number one over Chris Harris? As far as I can see, there’s no one in the CL who would be unbeatable at Ashfield and wouldn’t be vulnerable at some point to visiting riders. It’s the nature of our track.
