Technically only two and a half heat leaders with any effect are missing from the Championship. You can’t really count Andersen (performance) or Tarasenko (late comer). So it’s only Basso, Douglas and the two bad boys who are missing….and one of them can return in June. Have I missed anyone?

Paul Starke to Glasgow

I was quite surprised when the full team rumour came out and he was named but it’s proving to be accurate so far. Like you though, I’ll give Paul and whoever the others are my full support next season but on paper, I find it hard to imagine the rumoured team to be a title defending one.

Compared to what??? How can you say that when most teams have not been finalised?

Three interesting points from Matt Ford……..1) Tom saying all the right things…….well, he’s not going to say all the wrong things, is he? 2) Poole don’t want to be second choice for any rider…….well, I’m pretty sure they were as I doubt very much that Tom would have left Glasgow if they’d offered him a place. 3) The Poole has a great home track advantage…….something that some of their supporters on here have previously strongly denied. Lol

…….plus the fact I can’t believe anyone would want him as a number 1 even if it was higher than Barker’s.

Really enjoyed Tom riding for Glasgow and am surprised he wasn’t kept as I don’t think he’s peaked like some others have suggested. I’m sure you won’t be disappointed in him at Poole as he’s capable on his day of beating anyone in the Championship. I’ll try not to hold it against him, riding for the Pirates……lol

Can anyone tell me for SURE that a)….Polish riders have to attend practice on a Friday before a Saturday meeting? and b)….Was there anything written into the rules for next year to change the possibility of the likes of Patrick Wojdylo coming to the Championship on a 5 average?

Defo your gain…….was disappointed he didn’t remain at Glasgow. He won’t let you down….very professional and never gives up.
