  1. Now I’m worried he might be coming to Glasgow instead of the much predicted Vissing…………..
  2. Ooooh!……..and I thought Harris was happily married……..lol
  3. Never thought his manner came across well……..like ignoring opposition fans’ applause for instance.
  4. Which one will be riding pillion?…….’cause they’ll both be wanting the same bit of track…….3 inches from the safety fence…..lol
  5. If that’s the case then it would scupper Brennan, Nowak and Vissing being a combined prediction…….
  6. Strange that no names are yet on the Glasgow section of the Speedway GB 2023 team signings. Did this happen last year as well?
  7. So, I take it the winners won’t be lifting the Jubilee trophy then? If they do, it’s an absolute farce.
  8. Oooh!……sounds like you maybe know something?………..spill…….lol
  9. Would have Rasser in the blink of an eye…..loved watching him and had a great style too. Sam had some good ones but really tailed off when the track slickened…..needs the dirt.
  10. Aye………but makes for good forum fodder……lol
  11. Can’t say I know anyone more passionate than Cami……………(just my take)
  12. Spot on post Cast1m……..couldn’t agree more. A few Cami haters out there which I think is more to do with personalty clashes than wrong decisions and actions. It’s as you say, the result would have been no different with any manager at the helm. It’s like some of the Cookie haters……just an instant dislike. The other thing is, Cami is guided strongly by Michael Max who sure knows his onions and generally has the support of those who don’t like Mr Brown.
  13. A lot of talk about the possibility of Tom moving to Birmingham……..I’ll be fair disappointed if he doesn’t return to us for another season.
  14. I’d rather it was Harris or Lawson or Worrall or the man in the moon or whoever it is to replace Cookie…..just to close the door on this. It’s daein’ ma nut in……..lol
  15. Do you mean…….“MR. HARLEEEY HORWOOOOOD!!!” ?……..lol
  16. Harris, Basso, Brennan, Vissing, Nowak, Complin, Coles or Ace Pijper……..not the worst tail. What would Frazer Bowes come in on?
  17. I’ve always been reluctant to mention this fact in case I was well off the mark due to maybe only seeing his bad performances ……but I don’t know how many times I’ve seen him being picked for heat 15 only for him to fail to bring home the bacon. Began to wonder why he was consistently being chosen.
  18. Has been muted elsewhere, though, that as the boy doesn’t yet drive, being in the same team would help with transport logistics.
  19. As far as I’m concerned, I would put Harris’s previous season with us down as a blip……and would have him back in a heartbeat.
  20. Not too bad apart from Andersen and I’m not quite sure Ruml would live up to that 5.47 but he would quickly move to reserve with the expected Nowak/Vissing improvement. Would also depend if Vissing was interested and committed but he certainly has the ability.
  21. I can’t stand the small minded Cook haters who just mouth off at the slightest chance without knowing the facts. I’ve supported Tigers from 1964 and for me he’s been one of the most fantastic to watch and his passion for whatever club he rides for is obvious. My previous favourites at Ashfield have been Les Collins and Shane Parker for their exciting racing especially from the back and I think, for me, Craig just pipped them in the passing stakes. I personally wish him all the best for the future and I’m sure he’ll come back to bite us.
  22. I don’t agree with your last comment about not attracting the best riders but your first point is valid and I feel Glasgow falls into that category……..but in saying that, I’d rather watch exciting, close racing every week (oops, sorry….fortnight….lol) than watch a procession after the first bend. I’ll forego the medals, thank you…….
  23. Surely could have done away with the other Mickey Mouse early season competition and just ran with the league and the K.O cup. We used to manage far more regular weekly fixtures in years gone by.
