  1. Hi Jitendra, I signed up to purchase the Peter Craven Memorial stream and was asked to upgrade my account and change my password. Just checking to see if this was a genuine request as it asked for my address including State and Zip code? Just being doubly careful in this day and age of hacking etc.
  2. Please don’t ever consider visiting Glasgow………lol
  3. Soooo looking forward to this season. Don’t think we’ll be short of excitement. Silverware would be a bonus but not the be-all and end-all.
  4. Yeah, it will be interesting. My only hope, being a Glasgow supporter, is that the expected increase in averages of our numbers 2 and 4 will make the difference. Need to just wait and see.
  5. Took a bit of getting used to for his style maybe…..and a pity he didn’t get dialled in until it was too late. ……….and you’ve answered your own question. “Some are more difficult than others” …….and going by most riders’ opinions, Glasgow isn’t one of them.
  6. In my mind, there’s a difference between home advantage and home TRACK advantage. I see home track advantage as being a circuit that visiting riders find difficult to master and therefore to pass on. Our high scoring record at home, I reckon, was due to having a team who were capable, on most occasions, of riding our very fair track better than the visitors. Obviously this is partly due to them riding the track more regularly.
  7. That would save on the dummies at least……lol
  8. I honestly think you know nothing about the financial business at Glasgow…….just jumping on the old rumour bandwagon.
  9. ……and possibly Complin too in my opinion
  10. What are the “tricks”and “variables” you refer to?
  11. I would put Glasgow in the same category…….ie. no home track advantage.
  12. It’s what’s commonly known as Women’s Prerogative I think……lol
  13. Just for that…..I hope you get Batch…….lol
  14. Where do I collect my prize from?……….lol
  15. What an exciting team it’s going to be to watch……racers galore……love it.
  16. D’ya think I wouldn’t have checked?……lol Edited…..just checked again and apologies……he is….. lol
  17. Well, he would definitely seem to be the best option but let’s not forget, the idea of Vissing came from us fans due to his ideal average but there’s been nothing obvious from any other angle to indicate that it may be him. Another thing I noticed was that Cammy Brown is one of Keynan Rew’s friends on Facebook. Kenyan’s average would fit the gap but now the query over his injuries???….just saying…..
  18. Correct……. but someone was saying that they would prefer a 4 point rookie Aussie over Complin.
  19. The question was directed at someone else but since you’ve answered, there are very few rookie Aussies who are up to Championship standard other than Zischke and the others already signed elsewhere.
  20. Who would dare go to a hairdresser named “Matt” anyway?……lol
  21. Thanks for this Gordon. It’s certainly cleared the air on the subject. Emotions were running really high that day as you well know so it’s not surprising that the memory still affects us greatly. I’m really glad David has accepted that it was a racing incident and that he is coping well. As for people assuming there was Glasgow bias on what we witnessed, I can only say that I would have been similarly aghast if one of our riders had made the same move. Like has been mentioned elsewhere, I think if Phil had made a public apology then feelings would have been eased slightly.
  22. Totally agree with that last statement…….I reckon it would have made one hell of a difference about peoples’ feelings towards him.
  23. Often wondered how he ever got that job. I mean, what were his qualifications or qualities?…….or did he win it on a game show?…..lol
