No way would any proper speedway fan not care if another team had to close……but I can certainly understand why no Championship supporter would want their league or team compromised to protect a league that was failing through no fault of theirs.
Yup….very quiet, but going by rumours and no change to format I’m going for:-
Harris 8.90,
Howarth 7.92
Flint 6.95
Harrison 4.97
Juul Pedersen 5.00
Hodder 2.63
Hagon 3.48 Total 39.85
I don’t have any statistics but I always felt that Danny (great rider that he is) was one of these guys who was prone to go missing in heat 15 tussles.
I don’t know what Flint you’ve been watching. Here are his home scores for the season……4+2 8+1 14+1 5+1 8 9+1 11+1 7+1 9+1 6+2 8+2 9+1 13+1 8+3 and 8…….and in my view he’s committed to improving further. I’d definitely have him back.
I would have taken a chance on Dan hoping that his fast gating would have created a different mix on the first and second bend….. but it’s all water under the bridge now and no real point in looking back. Lawson and Cook were immaculate in the final heat.
Fantastic meeting. Congratulations to Poole. For me, Kerr won it for Poole by his pass on Thompson in heat 12 scrubbing the possibility of a Glasgow win without the need for a super heat.
