  1. Thats fair enough, already think the team looks better than last years. All teams need to be competitive at home, very dispiriting to lose a few home matches.
  2. I think he said he wanted to keep his Saturdays free for travel, if he got any rides in Poland.
  3. Comment from Connor Bailey when he was announced for Redcar tonight is that Workington riding on a Saturday was one of the reasons he chose Redcar.
  4. Trigger happy they call it! You did a good job to be fair
  5. Good of Ben Trigger to change his name to feel more at home in the Middlesbrough Tigers line up.
  6. Pretty much the team I expected to be honest. Gavin Parr did say they thought they had a rider but he signed somewhere else (think we all know who that is) but not a bad looking team in a weaker league. Few riders coming back from injury is obviously a concern but hopefully they’ll be ok. If Bailey, Edwards and Mulford can push on should be a decent season.
  7. I think I saw a comment somewhere that said Hume could be a GP rider if speedway didn’t have bends. Can certainly gate but I found it very frustrating watching him last year due to his inconsistency , but that might just be me.
  8. Riss back at Edinburgh must be a possibility surely?
  9. Yes that’s fair, but he wouldn’t be coming in on an inflated average and expected to ride like a number 1.
  10. Must admit I was expecting Flint in the Bears team next year, but it seems like the same as last year that we have lost out to teams who can offer more money. Kerr a good signing for Berwick I think.
  11. Thats the team I’m thinking. 3 riders coming back from injury is a concern but I don’t think it’ll be too far away from what is going to be announced.
  12. Where this comes from is a mystery? It’s like the changing of the seasons and the tides of the sea….
  13. That’s what I thought too, apart from Hodder.
  14. Bailey and TJ in place of Riss and Hume? Does Bailey get 2.5% reduction?
  15. That makes more sense but still seems risky.
  16. Now it’s officially official - how is it going to work running 2 teams? Are they seriously expecting supporters to attend twice a week? Genuinely hope it works but seems very risky.
  17. Well If Hume is elsewhere then swap Bailey for Hume - think that still fits with reductions.
  18. I thought the rumours were having to have a 2 pointer at 7 (36 points for 6 riders)? Seeing lots of team threads where that isn’t the case. Be interesting to seen where Bailey ends up - the sort of rider most teams will be looking for, plenty of room for improvement in his average.
  19. Like others have said, I’d be very surprised to see Brennan in the Redcar team next year.
  20. If you could guarantee he would be fully fit and back to the rider he was, then I’d have no issue with him coming back. Just not sure he will but time will tell. Just thought a change of track might help him.
  21. So assuming its 38 point limit (36 and a 2 point rider) how about:- Wright King Flint Hume Edwards Mulford 2 pointer (Harrison?) Assuming I've used the right averages I think it fits. Not saying it is what I'd choose but would be ok with that.
  22. Who he belongs to matters very little as we found out with Jenkins. If riders are offered a better deal they will go to that team, which given Glasgows backing gives them a good chance I guess.
