  1. Those are last months (issue 18) averages, should have changed from 3rd July to Issue 19 averages Kus 6.83 Robson 6.68 surely?
  2. I'm sure the complete reverse could be argued too from the ever dwindling band of Redcar supporters. Still at least those who did turn up got 15 heats to watch.
  3. Been abandoned apparently. Just when you think things can't get much worse at redcar this happens - been no rain all day. To be unable to provide a raceable track is completely unacceptable on a dry day. The promotion (used in the loosest possible terms) seem determined to run down the club. I'm sure even more people will decide it's not worth it after tonight. Shambles.
  4. Thought the track was poor last season too - blue groove appeared early on in most meetings and outside offered very little.
  5. It wasn't under prepared - that is how it is now prepared week in, week out and why the racing quality has deteriorated badly over the last few years. I, like many others, had the choice of Redcar or staying at home last night. I chose staying at home and so did quite a few others.
  6. Getting fewer by the week - Bearstalk forum is very quiet too. A lot of us have stopped going - would take a change of promotion to get me back on a regular basis.
  7. I knew it was bad - but not as bad as thinking the racing was better at Berwick!!
  8. The way things are going I fear that if you do leave it two years there won't be any speedway at Redcar. Crowds are dwindling and a lot of the hardcore support are very disillusioned with the way things are being run.
  9. Missed quite a lot of meetings last year too Ian - enthusiasm seriously waning under the current promotion set up. Along with many others.
  10. Like two bald men fighting over a comb (although I think Newcastle will finish above the Bears this year) After 1 home meeting (well half as I went home when the meeting was delayed) I've decided to give this one a miss.
  11. Can't argue with that - although I only stayed for half the meeting as I left during the delay for the ambulance. I fear for the future of Redcar Speedway with the current "promotion" - the treatment of sponsors and supporters is generally very poor and the current team looks very poor too.
  12. Bit unfair on RR - he is nowhere near as supercilious as Tsunami.
  13. Key words here - alleged (no substantiation) and rules (what rules have been broken?) No fan of Havvy Senior but his priorities should be sorting out the Redcar team not Berwicks.
  14. Kus in changing his mind shocker! (just posting it in a Berwick Press Release style)
  15. Can't fit both Kus and Spud in average wise.
  16. Kus back in the Redcar team now apparently.
  17. Haven't read the entire thread (so apologies if this has already been posted) http://www1.skysports.com/watch/video/sports/speedway/9379738/edinburgh-win-premier-league-pairs For those like me who didn't see it live. My take (for what it's worth) is that it was the right decision.
  18. Was expecting this meeting to be off as the forecast was for rain most of the day - but we have had none at all. Hope they have put more water on the track than in previous weeks - it was like a motorway last week and lead to a very poor meeting with no chance for anyone if they missed the gate. Edit after heat 10 - wish it had rained! Totally out gated and battled, again. Embarrassing.
  19. Cheers for ther compliment (I had to look up moronic to see what it meant obviously). The rumblings about the Promotion have been going on for a while now - there are people interested in helping the club but the current promotion are pretty set in their ways. Worrying times for the long term future of the club.
  20. Deserved win for the Monarchs on a ultra slick track at the STMP tonight. Turned into pretty much a gating competition and there was only going to be one winner when that happened. Still there's always tomorrow night.....
  21. True - but sadly some of them were from Redcar . Not many posts on the Bears forum either these days.
  22. Hopefully. Actually you are right with the apathy comment - last weeks meeting against Plymouth didn't have a thread at all. Weather is fine - no issues.
