  1. Survival of the fittest is the new BSPA master plan, and sod the rest.
  2. More like Smallmead in its present state Sid!
  3. I have to agree. The third tier has never got the recognition it deserves. These are certainly dark days for the sport.
  4. Barring a major upset, it's gonna be Mildenhall 3 times at Arlington in the last month of the season. It's getting a Lakeside v Peterborough feel about it.
  5. I do like the way that everyone pulls together in this great sport of ours.
  6. Surely it's down to the promoters or the press officers to update the fixture list, not the fans. Or do you think otherwise.
  7. Perhaps someone should tell the BSPA to reinstate it on their fixture list.
  8. Still three home matches to run against Peterborough, only one has a confirmed date. Let's hope it's not a wet October.
  9. I've noticed that the Lakeside v Peterborough match on the 6th October has disappeared from the BSPA website, and is only provisional on the Lakeside site. Does anyone in this sport know what is going on.
  10. I remember it well. I also recall seeing Alvin Stardust there. They were pretty big names at the time.
  11. Eastbourne always have a chance over two legs against anyone.
  12. A possible double header against the same opposition next Saturday, doesent do a lot for me if I'm honest.
  13. I have to agree with you. I go to Rye because it's convenient, but I don't really enjoy going there anymore. The stadium is a mess and the lighting is poor. I am not alone in feeling this way. It's going to be a massive gamble by Cook & Douglas to promote a full season there. Hopefully the crowds hold up this year, but facing Peterborough every week won't help.
  14. Eddie, even the driest summer since 1976 can't ensure the league fixtures are completed on time.
  15. Nice and early decision. Saves all the uncertainty.
  16. It's not the first time an away club has shafted the home promotion by putting out a weakened team. It happens all the time in the NL. I get used to it.
  17. The island like Kent, run speedway meetings every week. Like it used to be.
  18. Fair play to you for being honest. There are far too many on here who defend the indefensible.
  19. Tomorrow sees the Fen Tigers visit Arlington, attempting to preserve their unbeaten League Record. The only winner here looks to be the weather. Hopefully an early decision will be made if the forecast doesent improve.
  20. Triple headers, why not. You could run the whole home season in five meetings.
