  1. I can't see no further than an Eastbourne win over two legs, unless the injury bug bites.
  2. Stoneman didn't impress last night. Mildenhall have a real job on their hands sunday. If i had a choice, I'd go for Clegg.
  3. Very similar to the Mildenhall situation. Worthy champions, that look like they have run out of steam.
  4. A walk in the park for the Eagles last night. The crowd was poor, but that was to be expected. Mildenhall have gone off the boil at the wrong time of the season, and injuries are starting to take their toll. It would be an injustice if Eastbourne won the league, but those are the rules of the game.
  5. You do get a facility for grasstrack if it is an ACU event. Peterborough got one for Chris Harris last year when he rode in the British masters. They used R/R against Workington, whilst Harris rode at folkestone.
  6. It's the wimborne whoppa grass track meeting on sunday, which is probably the reason Eastbourne are starting at 19.30. This might have an impact on Peterborough finding suitable guests.
  7. Who knows, like i say, i have Eastbourne as a back up. I just can't believe a so called professional sport carries on like this, when fans are leaving in their droves.
  8. At the risk of losing your club, is it worth the gamble.
  9. I'm suprised the gestapo haven't blamed the updates site for falling crowds!
  10. Without a doubt, it will be watered down. Weaken the product and increase the admission price. A recipe for disaster.
  11. I've got Eastbourne v Mildenhall on the 21st as well, so I'm not too bothered if I'm honest.
  12. With some of NL big hitters indicating they are staying put. I'm expecting little change next season.
  13. The promoters will never relinquish their power to an outside agency. They would rather let the sport die, than give up their little empire.
  14. Does anyone know when the restaging date and start time will be confirmed. Or shall i just keep every day free for the next two weeks.
  15. The way Chris Louis was talking, i thought they were up for it.
  16. Martin Rogers followed the dynamic duo on the mic in 1971.
  17. Wembley was never a great track, far too narrow for my liking. The sense of occasion made up for it. As a kid, i loved going there for league matches in the 1970's. March of the gladiators at parade time, David Hamilton on the mic and big crowds. The quality of racing didn't seem to matter much back then.
  18. I've heard that before. That's a strange one.
  19. Midweek meetings have never been well attended at Eastie. The year they ran in the EL on thursday nights were a disaster.
