  1. It was an excellent meeting, that pulled in a big crowd.
  2. I thought the 'new' Northside track was nearing completion.
  3. The master plan is, all riders can ride for two clubs in the same league. It makes perfect sense to me!
  4. With Richard Lawson signing for Plymouth and King's Lynn next season, it looks like more of the same for next year. If something is broke, why try and repair it!
  5. He won rider of the month for August, at Kent last Monday.
  6. It's being debated in parliament today. I'm just hoping the deeper tracks brigade win the day!
  7. The track has been poor at Poole for years. If the locals are prepared to put up with that, it's their choice. I've seen at least one meeting a season at Wimborne road since 1978. To be fair, when i saw Kent there in June, the track was ok.
  8. As I've said before. The track is the most important part of a promoters business. Get that right and you've got a chance.
  9. Your reply is what's wrong with British speedway. It's all about self interest. So what if Eastbourne, Birmingham and Newcastle close, as long as Redcar are all right. In the end you won't have hardly any opponents left to race against. The sport is in a perilous position, all clubs and fans need to stick together and put their petty rivalries aside.
  10. I totally agree on taking an interval after heat 10. Getting a result has to be the priority over tractor breaks.
  11. Not quite as good as the Poole match racing wise, but still an excellent meeting.
  12. An excellent meeting for the neutral tonight. Scunny's use of Macdonald in heat 13 instead of 14 was pivotal in the outcome of the match. Kent got out of jail for sure.
  13. Which is a shame. I was looking forward to seeing him ride at Central Park tonight.
  14. Like when Brandon asked Tatum for his views on Sheffield's early use of their tac sub. The silent response was embarrassing. I really felt for Steve.
  15. Self interest means change will be highly unlikely. The NDL will probably end up as a 6 heat second half event, which will die a slow death.
  16. The whole show and presentation was embarrassing. I guess Eurosport and British speedway are the perfect fit.
  17. It was the first time I'd seen him ride this season. He certainly faded as the meeting wore on.
  18. I wouldn't say the strongest, but probably the most expensive.
  19. I used to 'support' all four clubs, but I'm now on my last legs at Kent Kings!
  20. Crowds had dropped off for NL racing at Arlington in 2018. After competing in the championship, would the fans support a return to a lower level of speedway.
  21. I went to the first three team tournament over there, but that was a standard speedway meeting with added veterans and youth races.
  22. He's nowhere near the rider he used to be. I'm suprised he came back so soon.
