Hopefully Kent don't suffer the same fate. ARC have only just taken ownership at Central Park. Who knows what their attitude will be to speedway next year.
I'm neither a Kent fan nor a boozer. I wasn't complaining at Leicester last Saturday either, for another slickly run meeting. I initially thought they were rushing it through to enable the Lions to get to Glasgow tonight. I'd forgotton all about the rave up, it's of no interest to me.
Not if it costs them money. I can't see them subsidising speedway like Bob Dugard did. As an Arlington regular, I'm hoping, but not convinced there will be a revival.
I made it for the first 3TT. I went with my mate, who's son was riding in the kids races. It was an experience going to the Speedway on the car ferry, after attending approximately 150 meetings using the Fastcat. Surely i must be due a knighthood!
Speedway in this country lives far beyond its means. On Friday i attended a non league football match in the Essex senior league that pulled in more than 350.
Do the BSPL really care what the punters think. I know it's old hat, but why don't they send out a questionnaire to find out why people have stopped going. What about us that still go. I know I'm losing more interest on a weekly basis, and I'm finding more reasons not to go.
