  1. I heard him say that, but several of his disciples denied it.
  2. So was i. The free coach from Wood lane was too much of a temptation after the previous nights BLRC at Hyde Road.
  3. Leicester City at home as well. It's going to hit the attendance for sure.
  4. I was there. A decent meeting by Wembley's standards, but tonight has been excellent.
  5. I said that on Facebook awhile ago, and was slated for it.
  6. I was there. I've also been to November meetings at Belle Vue, Canterbury, Hackney, Mildenhall and Wimbledon, just from memory.
  7. Won't be the first time. I saw Michael Lee win the Poole gala fair on November 5th 1983!
  8. We all know that's a distinct possibility Arnie. My bet is Scunthorpe, as the neutral venue.
  9. When i went to Lydd for an amateur meeting earlier in the season, they had an ambulance and a paramedic vehicle on site.
  10. I went to Crayford v Newcastle in the 1983 Supernational final. The semi was run at Weymouth the night before, so the away team scorecard and heat details were blank.
  11. There was three ambulances present at the last grasstrack meeting i attended. Coventry always used to have at least two in attendance.
  12. Cosidering Pearson is a 'professional' commentator covering different sports, it is a very amateurish show where speedway is concerned. Prehaps it's a perfect fit.
  13. Pedersen certainly suprised me. He looked fast all night.
  14. For me as a neutral, it was a meeting that promised a lot, but failed to deliver. The crowd was excellent, but the track was slick and offered few passing opportunities. A real shame for those of us present and for the TV audience.
