  1. Nothing to stop them kicking out the speedway though. 15 speedway meetings at Poole, with no dog racing, hardly makes the stadium viable.
  2. I went to the first and last Steve. Not a bad race track, but an awful location.
  3. No secrets in speedway mate, it's a very small world.
  4. No suprise. It's basically what i heard at Kent on Tuesday.
  5. From what I've heard there might be, but maybe not in time for 2022.
  6. Some, if not all of the bond might be used to pay the wages owed to the riders.
  7. I'm owed money, but it wouldn't stop me going again. Not everybody will be on board though.
  8. Reading got excellent crowds at Tilehurst and the first few seasons at Smallmead. Oxford on the other hand had decent crowds in the Nielsen/Wigg era, but a succession of different promoters struggled there.
  9. The situation is a lot more complicated at Eastbourne. Surely some of their debts will have to be cleared, before any new promoters take over. Time might be against them for next season.
  10. A very enjoyable meeting at Central Park last night. It certainly had no end of season feel about it.
  11. I've been to five grasstrack meetings this year. 2 each at both Frittenden circuits and the masters at Swingfield.
  12. Chris Harris did the same thing at Lakeside. He seemed as far back as the Dartford tunnel!
  13. Did you enjoy your afternoon at Lydd yesterday Barry. It was a bit chilly, but a good day out.
  14. I'd be tempted to do local football in the afternoon, prior to the speedway.
  15. I spoke with him at length when he was commentating on a SKY meeting at Eastbourne several years ago. I found him to be good company and a really nice bloke, but i accept some peoples circumstances change.
