  1. Eleven years before my first ever meeting!
  2. As long as we're 2 metres apart, i don't mind!
  3. If Eastbourne were staging a meeting tomorrow, I'd go. I'm convinced i could take the necessary precautions to keep myself and others safe. How many more would be prepared to do the same. Promoters must be thinking, if they do get the green light, will it be financially viable for them to run.
  4. Absolutely. When non league football starts up, so can speedway. Like you say, attendances are very similar.
  5. Hopefully grassroots will include amateur speedway. A few meetings at Iwade or Lydd would be a treat.
  6. Given the average age of the UK speedway fans, is it any wonder that the majority of us can't remember what we posted yesterday, let alone a few weeks ago!
  7. Big deal, I'd rather have the option of a refund. There is no guarantee that this bug won't still be around in 2021.
  8. Hardly suprising is it, everybody is so bored. As the weeks go by, with so little real news to talk about. Live speedway seems just a distant memory to me.
  9. Would the NSS have been built in the current climate, highly debatable.
  10. That's my view, especially with speedways meagre attendances.
  11. The cost of making stadiums fit for social distancing, plus the extra stewards needed to enforce it, wont come cheap for cash strapped clubs.
  12. Hopefully a few amateur meetings will be on the horizon.
  13. I feel for you mate. I've got a few quid tied up in a 10 meeting Eastbourne ticket, but I'm prepared to wait till next season if necessary, to use it.
  14. I'd be amazed if any new stadium got built in the current financial climate. Staying in business would be an achievement.
  15. Any form of racing will be a bonus this year. Fingers crossed we all get the chance to see something.
  16. I've not watched any of it, I'm totally out of the speedway mode. I'm not too optimistic about seeing any live meetings this year.
  17. With talk of Leicester going into lockdown because of a rise in cases. Local outbreaks could have a big impact on speedways attempts to get going again.
  18. We certainly do live in a nanny state, where people behave like children and are not allowed to be told off.
  19. The government should send in the troops with water cannons to sort the morons out.
  20. Indeed it didn't. Turns one and two were far worse!
