I first saw him ride as a sixteen year old at Crayford's reopening meeting in 1975. He was one of the few riders that could regularly pass Penhall when he was at his peak.
With the restrictions slowly being eased, has anyone ventured out to any sporting events. I have attended three speedway meetings at Lydd, Scunthorpe and King's Lynn. I have also been to two non league football matches at Leatherhead and Guildford City. It's been great to try and get back to some kind of normality.

It's the people at Arena i miss. Yes it was a dump, and a poxy place to get to for us fans south of the river. With Rye gone as well, it's pretty bleak for speedway fans in that neck of the woods.
