The maximum attendance allowed at the non league games I've been to, range from 150 to 600. They have all been compliant with covid regs. Track and trace, sanitizing stations and extra stewards come as standard. No different to the speedway meetings i have attended at Scunny and King's Lynn.
I'm afraid it's live sport or nothing for me. I've never paid to watch a one off sporting event. I find watching the current football matches without fans, a real turn off. The lack of live speedway and premier league football has been replaced by local grassroots football matches, which have been a real life saver for me.
I don't blame him for blowing his top. I've been to two non league FA cup ties this week, with good crowds inside the grounds. I would have felt perfectly safe at Ipswich, social distancing in a large capacity stadium.
Not interested in televised sport Sid. I've gone back to my roots by doing non league football. Last night was my 9th ground since the new season started. How long i can keep going is another matter.
Lost interest now I'd say. Purchased tickets for Leicester and Ippo this month, both events bit the dust. I'm a creature of habit, i need regular local meetings to keep me going. Chasing odd meetings hundreds of miles away, don't do it for me.
The pandemic has had the opposite effect on me. Pre lockdown i used to attend on average 80 meetings per season. When this hell is over, i will definitely settle for less.
I'm not really losing interest, it's the lack of local meetings that are having the biggest impact. I've been to Lydd, Scunthorpe and King's Lynn and hopefully Ipswich next week. Driving over 200 miles for meetings don't do it for me.
