well you see it wrong, there is a large group of fans, myself included that go to both. Some of the track staff also work at both venues.

lakeside are riding against coventry, with admission only £5 if purchased in advance. Kent rarely run when the hammers are at home.

Mildenhall should not run speedway the day after a stock car meeting. With so little time available to prepare a safe track, problems are always going to occur. The riders and the fans deserve better.

I think the raiders are a seperate club as far as Len is concerned. That's why we had all of the father and son aggro earlier in the season.

I only missed four meetings at the white city from 1976 to 1983. Some were good, some were bad and some like the 1982 british open were forgettable!
