  1. From a very good start, the crowds at the last few meetings I have attended have declined. This usually happens every season when the enthusiasm wears off.
  2. The worrying thing is, buster is the flag bearer for british speedway at the moment. How can he treat the public like this and get away with it.
  3. This is the main reason I don't travel long distances anymore, at least if I stay local it doesn't hurt so much when I get kicked up the backside!
  4. The restaging date of June 25th is the same day as lakeside v isle of Wight. Mr.cook won't be happy!
  5. Has the full coventry line up been finalised yet. I didn't fully hear the announcement at rye on Monday.
  6. The whole site is boarded up now. It is impossible to see inside without a ladder!
  7. The track looked better on the video clip on the SGB website.
  8. The problem on Saturday was probably caused by the large away support that caught the promotion out. My mate purchased six, and he's an eagles fan!
  9. The programmes are always sold out at eastbourne. A ridiculously short print run for one of the sports best value for money programmes.
  10. I couldn't face kent today, the lakeside meeting was too fresh in the memory for me. I went to rye instead, to watch a former kings hero Danny Ayres have an excellent meeting. Kent are going to miss him this season.
  11. A great performance from Danny ayres today. He has come on a bit this season for sure.
  12. Poole are not alone in preparing an unacceptable track this season, I've seen too many already. This worrying trend could really hurt speedway attendances long term.
  13. A bit of a long drawn out meeting last night, with far too many incidents for my liking, some that could have turned out nasty. It was good to see a large turn out of heathens fans, which certainly boosted the crowd.
  14. I remember a sky meeting at lakeside a couple of years ago. The riders were at the tapes for heat 11 ready to race, yet were called back to the pits and the meeting was abandoned. This was despite improving track conditions and faster race times.
  15. i remember it well, 2007 v belle vue. The racers lost by a point.
  16. Poole is an excellent shape and can produce great racing. The track curator needs a kick up the backside or be relieved of his duties.
  17. Well I enjoyed last night's meeting much more than the one on good friday. The majority of the meetings I attend are at NL level, this is down to logistics rather than choice. Rye House has become an island in terms of top flight racing in the south East, for how long, who knows.
  18. It was a decent meeting tonight, but the crowd was a bit disappointing. Hopefully it will pick up when the league matches start.
  19. Len reckons he has sorted the track out. I won't see it though, it will be a month before my next visit to central park.
  20. The diggers are now in the car park at Plough Lane pulling up the tarmac. The end is nigh!
  21. Poor meetings on poor tracks seems to be a worrying trend in 2017. The promoters really need to get a grip, if you pardon the pun!
  22. Bristol was certainly a one off. Huge crowds, decent stadium and an awful track!
