Well I've been to every meeting at rye this season, and the majority of the races have been follow the leader, Chris Harris Being the exception to the rule. It must be as frustrating for the riders as it is for the fans having a one line track. Or maybe you are as star struck as the rest of the fans that think it's wonderful over there.
Easy win for Swindon, they took their foot off the gas in the latter part of the meeting. Usual one line on the fence track tonight. Give the likes of Harris and Nicholls some material to work with, and they might win a few more races.
Looking at the ongoing shambles at Leicester tonight, where the line ups are not known until the day of the meeting. I'd say superman couldn't save speedway in this country!.
if Bristol did return, Somerset would be the losers. How many rebels regulars are ex bulldogs fans. When stoke reopened in 1973 they took half of crewe's crowd with them. The kings only lasted a couple more years. Sunderland's short return to the sport in the 1970's coincided with newcastle's absence.
Rye have been averaging one home meeting a month since May. Now the fixture list is getting very congested. With the football season kicking in for some of us, some deep pockets are going to be needed!
