  1. He was back to his best at rye tonight. A very commanding performance.
  2. Might be a good Idea to give him a run out in a challenge match.
  3. Shame they couldn't find a free Sunday and ride home and away on the same day.
  4. Poole were so bad last week, surely there won't be a repeat tomorrow. I will be at rye v belle vue, but I hope it's a good meeting for those attending.
  5. A decent meeting last night, which pulled in a good crowd. There was some hard fought tussles in the latter part of the match, with both sides suffering some bad luck along the way. Hopefully the kings and the hammers will make the play offs, the more local meetings the better.
  6. In your dreams, the rye track is down to the base after the parade lap!
  7. There is not even dust to race on at rye. The track is slicker than an ice rink.
  8. The sad thing is, the likes of rosco believed it.
  9. Beating the rain tomorrow will be a bigger achievement than beating the stars for the rockets.
  10. Yet another farce for the Leicester public to enjoy!
  11. Common sense and speedway don't go together, do they?
  12. Forecast looking awful for tomorrow, will we get a summer this year!
  13. no I'm being serious. I was told this by a very reliable source, not your usual speedway gossip.I had to choose between eastie and rye on Saturday. Based on the rainfall radar I went to rye. Despite a decent line up and a dry track, it wasn't a great meeting either.
  14. Well I've been to every meeting at rye this season, and the majority of the races have been follow the leader, Chris Harris Being the exception to the rule. It must be as frustrating for the riders as it is for the fans having a one line track. Or maybe you are as star struck as the rest of the fans that think it's wonderful over there.
  15. Believe it or not, the price rise is to help finance medical cover!
