Wolves Vs Belle Vue Tues 7th April
sandking072 replied to lino wolf's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Playing Devil's Advocate for a second here. If the Fast Track scheme is designed to 'encourage & develop' the reserves, surely the way forward would be for BOTH riders to take their allotted programmed rides. Replace a struggling member of the top 5 by all means if one of the reserves is riding well enough but doesn't giving one reserve 5 rides and the other 3 rides defeat the object of the whole thing? Just a thought. -

Still hosing it down now. Hasn't stopped since it started. Correct decision. -
Well, being as Ward has declared himself #notfriends with the FIM on Twitter, his principles will lead him to decline any invitation into an FIM sanctioned event.......won't they?

Would you leave a warm house on a dark night and spend 18 quid for the privilege of watching that team? At a talk-in a couple of years ago, I asked if it was fair to say the Wolves promotion had taken their eye off the ball since Dudley/Cradley had started riding at Monmore. With the exception of 2009 & 2010, the evidence is pretty compelling. I'll be optimistic & say we'll finish 7th.

I always wondered what happened to Moley. Now we know! Hope they manage to get him out of that hole by Thursday.

Embarrassed to be a Wolves fan with that line up. This must be a new low that will never be beaten! -

Rye House/Peterborough re-arrangement was announced on 4th August. Poole/Wolves was abandoned on 4th June. Poole/Wolves has been in the calendar a lot longer than that. -

The only saving grace is at least he's our asset when Poole inevitably come sniffing around. -

The key thing here is that Woffinden rode in Sweden yesterday. If he hadn't, I'm sure he'd have received every sympathy as somethingclearly wasn't right on Monday night. He didn't appear on the victory parade, with Proctor saying he was exhausted. He then tweeted that the drive to Stansted was going to finish him off completely. So, to then go to Sweden and ride is pure madness. Either that, or the whole truth hasn't come out yet. I've managed a 'stress-related illness' as it's described on the official site for 20 years now. When I was first diagnosed, I hadn't got the strength to get out of bed. So the the idea of catching a red-eye flight to Europe and riding a bike at 70mph with no brakes seems a pretty dangerous idea if you're exhausted. Is this part of a carefully managed exit strategy? I've got a horrible feeling Wolves will find themselves in a Bruce Penhall situation before long. Especially after reading the statement about 'strengthening the team' on the official site yesterday.

Think he works for Pearson's company unless I'm mistaken. However, Nigel's match report in the local rag from the King's Lynn v Wolves match was a belter.......being as he wasn't even there. -
