  1. We have a match in hand on Swindon and that's a home match. Wolves match's in hand are all away so we certainly have a chance now. If the Aces win there 3 remaining home matches then Swindon and Wolves have to start winning away from home. 4th place is wide open and the Aces, Wolves and Swindon all have a chance to take it. If Somerset lose to Poole at home on Monday then they can be dragged in to a 4 horse race for 2spots.
  2. Cook our top scorer away and worrall been injured all season what a silly post.
  3. Not that Strange for me. We have been far too weak at reserve away from home this season, we need away wins or the playoffs are gone. It was a toss of coin on jye or Damian to go. The change may or may not work but we had to try something, nothing to lose.
  4. Get in colts. A special team, deserved winners.
  5. Imagine if cook and bewley rode in the first leg, if jack smith didnt get injured in heat 2 which left us with 1 reserve and 1 heat where we could only have 3 rides and add the fact BWD taking an illegal ride the lead Swindon took to BV would of been a couple of points if any at all. Aces were deserved winners of the cup. Swindon deserved winners of the play offs End of story.
  6. Well big crowd, sensational atmosphere, brilliant speedway from 2 teams giving there all, the ko cup is alive and well. Great night. Buzzing weve won it.
  7. Dump it why? We have 2 trophys to go for and you want 1 dumped?? For me they need to make the final mid season and it would become much bigger again
  8. Harris will give 100% as always but hes never been great around belle vue and is unlikely to get close to what cook would score.
  9. Cook missing makes wolves clear favourites now. The only bonus is everyone can now have an r/r ride which means we dont need to use a reserve as we would for fricke. We need Tungate and worrall on top form to stand any chance. I will hold my opinion on the cook issue until me know more.
  10. It wasnt raining when it started and forecast was dry. It will cost belle vue money to run this again so hardly money grabbing.
  11. Chucking dpwn again 3 miles from the track cant see this being on.
  12. Yes possible. Its worth noting that in semi v Swindon, it was reported to rain until 7pm, iy actually stopped about 7:20, they delayed start until 7:40 and we got all 15 heats. If the reports are correct tonight then looks like it will be on.
  13. Still raining but bbc weather now says dry from 7pm so depends how the track is i suppose.
  14. I think its more to do with the disappointment of the final last week and half your team missing tbh. Thats even weaker than using the same guests as last night, but im not convinced this will be on, bbc weather has it raining 9am until 10pm so if correct looks like we will be on Monday.
  15. Belle vue got out of jail tonight big time, wolves should of had this finished tonight, at 16 points up after 11 heats i expected a 20+ points defeat. On to tomorrow (weather permitting) if its the same 6 for wolves then the Aces should really be beating them by more than 10. Nicholls and wells are both average around the nss, morris is ok but not on lingrens level by a long way, masters doesnt seem fully fit to me and we should outscore the reserves.
  16. Lol if this was on the BV page wolves fans would be on one. Aces once again under dogs in the final, no fricke and with cook, worrall and smith all way below full fitness, wolves should wrap this up in the 1st leg. Blimey i sound like a wolves fan lol
  17. Wolves had all the luck. Injuries didn't effect the semi at all. Fricke missing covered JT missing the second leg.
  18. Congrats to Swindon deserved winners. What a great final that was and will go a long way to keeping BT Sport on board.
  19. I'm sorry that's nonsense, firstly the crash at wolves was unlucky and the ex could of gone either way, secondly the crash at Belle vue was clearly lindgrens fault the ref got it wrong, but either way there was no malice in either incident. The can throwing was 1 yes 1 idiot who was rightly chucked out of the stadium. Any way back to the meeting. Swindon should now win this at a canter.
