  1. Ancient you mean number 13 way back in 2022. You have to be there to bottle it, I'd rather have a recent history of coming second, then not get there at all. Even with a 29 year gap of titles were still 3 clear of second place Poole.
  2. You can't compare 2nd division v top division 🤣🤣🤣 do me a favour 🤣 13 times top flight league champions that's the stat 🏆🤣
  3. I think it's unlikely he rides again this season imo, the fact he's booked an assessment tells you it wasn't a mild concussion, I'm sure he's desperate to get back but just don't think it's worth the risk.
  4. For team building all RS are classed as 3 point average. That's just the criteria for being allowed on to the list, along with being 23 or under on 1st January.
  5. If as forecast it stays dry Friday and Saturday, then that should be enough to get a track ready to race. Then just need to hope Sunday isn't too bad rain.
  6. I'm not a track man, but if it does stay dry Friday and Sat, then there is no excuse for it not to be in a good condition by Sunday. I think they have done work on the drainage since the play off and Jubilee fiasco, so hopefully that helps. The weather was poor for the semi final V Ipswich and i though the track held up well. My concern is the weather forecast changing again. If not lets go to Kings Lynn, I've heard our guest NKI goes well there 😂
  7. Met office: dry Friday and Saturday, light Rain possible from 4pm Sunday, dry from 4am Monday for the rest of the day, so I don't class that as horrendous. If the that forecast is correct there is no excuse for the meeting not being on. That said forecasts can change at any time so who knows. Checking Net Weather (who are pretty good) its an even better forecast, so fingers crossed.
  8. Yes I agree on this, just need to keep fingers crossed.
  9. The track must be in a bad way as the forecast tomorrow isn't to bad. That said it's looking likely to be dry Friday to Sunday which gives them 3 days to get the track ready, Monday is dry apart from a bit of forecasted light rain for an hour or 2 in the morning. Should be no excuses for Monday.
  10. Bewley and Kurtz are no brainers. They should both be an Ace for the next 10 years unless they want to move on.
  11. Has no bearing on this year. As I said it happens but not often.
  12. We don't need to if 12 down going into heat 15 we have won. Forget past meetings it's the playoffs riders go harder. It's not over as 18 isn't impossible, but it's very very hard to pull back 18 points, it does happen but not often.
  13. I think the play off performances evidence that opinion, I also think Leicester's form started to drop a week or two before the play offs. Taking away any form I think these are two well matched teams and its all about the next 30 heats, as per the semi final id be very happy taking a 12 point lead into Thursday, 10 is par, 8 and below Leicester are favorite's.
  14. Agree Phil, id take a boring dreadful 20 point win over a 48-42 classic.
  15. To be fair there is already over 2k tickets sold so holding off to get everyone in won't make much difference as most buy online these days. The facts are as things stand the big rain today as so far not materialised. The Met office forecast still looks horrendous for tonight though.
  16. Its a lot different to the Met office. currently dry in North Manchester
