Sheffield vs Belle Vue 30/09/21 POSF 1st leg

I know this is in jest, but wasn't there a rule where a rider can't guest for multiple clubs in the play offs? -
Sheffield vs Belle Vue 30/09/21 POSF 1st leg

First visit to Sheffield in years so really looking forward to this meeting, hopefully the weather holds off. This tie can go either way and I have a feeling that who ever wins it will win the final. -
Yes but you were using this as an example of how there is enough riders to have 8 competitive teams yet your taking 5 riders who ride elsewhere. So where for instance do belle vue get riders to replace kurtz and Worrall?
-
5 of those riders already ride for premiership teams.

Brilliant from Bewley, lovely race -
Because boro won't want Belle Vue, so they will almost certainly put us against Wolves for them to knock us out.
-
If they finish top they will definitely pick Sheffield, i just can't see any other decision being being made.
-
I agree can't do it this year but maybe it should be looked at for the future, the prem is the most important competition in British speedway so should be treated as such.
-
I think he is saying that they should be protected for the Premier play offs.

He rode fantastically well, looked quick all night. Craig did a very good job also, even though he didn't win a race was close all night and took two great passes from Dan to beat him. -
Very interesting meeting this as with RS missing it evens this up even more and I expected it to be close anyway. I think Wolves just nick it, I'm hoping they do anyway, as if boro win then they will pick Sheffield in the semi.

Link for the rule? Don't have it, but trust me its the rule. Edit: I've just looked on the SCB site at the rules and tbh I can't find anything that states that rule, but it does seem to exist. -

They can't bring Richie back in until the 28 days have passed, thats 100% the rule, belle vue have no choice but to use a guest, this isn't a new rule. -
Yes it was confirmed at the end of the meeting that they are at Wolves next week.
-
I'd agree that attendances could be at the forefront of any decision.
-
Maybe, but I can't see it, I fully expect Wolves to win at home.
-
If I was wolves I'd pick Sheffield. Wolves would be clear favourites to beat both the Aces and Sheffield in the semi, the team Wolves will fear is boro as its their worst away track. The team with the best chance of beating boro in semi is Belle Vue (already beat them twice on aggregate) which would suit wolves perfectly.

British Final 2021
SUPERACE replied to Midland Red's topic in Speedway Testimonials & Individual and Shared Events
My guess is that they both don't do it because they have to ride the semi final, where as this year it was on invite only so Robert at least wanted to ride. I don't see the issue with them not being asked, can't have it both ways. -
Its disappointing of course, but makes sense, only 7 league meetings left so plenty of time to run them with hopefully no restrictions.

Who won heat 1,?
