Kurtz rode through the pain barrier for 1 meeting in the GP qualifier, he then went to Spain (I think it was Spain) to have it checked out and was told major ligament damage, he's not ridden since and won't for a while.
Id fully agree on that. There were 2 mistakes made, 1. Starting the meeting, should of been called off at 9am. 2. After heat 10 downpour it should of been called, 90 mins to get the track raceable wasn't acceptable.
Hopefully they learn from the mistake.
Nobody is being forced that wide at Belle Vue the track is too wide, riders are more than capable of avoiding the outside dirt. It could and should of gone on at that point.
Lemon knew what was going on, his first statement was the truth, he's been told by someone to retract it, but its still the truth. The track was surely raceable at that point, we waited 90 mins and it was clearly safe enough to give it a go.
There is also huge investment going on in Manchester and the link with Man City's owners has brought in huge money for sports investment and this helped with our Stadium. The main thing is Wolves get a track of thier own. If they do get that, then leaving monmore will be the best thing to happen to Wolves as it will safe guard the long term future. It is only matter of time before dogs are gone from monmore.
