Met office: dry Friday and Saturday, light Rain possible from 4pm Sunday, dry from 4am Monday for the rest of the day, so I don't class that as horrendous. If the that forecast is correct there is no excuse for the meeting not being on. That said forecasts can change at any time so who knows. Checking Net Weather (who are pretty good) its an even better forecast, so fingers crossed.

The track must be in a bad way as the forecast tomorrow isn't to bad. That said it's looking likely to be dry Friday to Sunday which gives them 3 days to get the track ready, Monday is dry apart from a bit of forecasted light rain for an hour or 2 in the morning. Should be no excuses for Monday.

Nah r/r is just another option. It doesn't make sense not to have a rule to cover all riders with a guest. For top second strings r/r just doesn't cover it.

Yes Steve the rules have changed this year, last year you could get a guest for All Heat leaders and reserves but not second strings. You can now get a guest for any position, which is how it should be.

Hey?? The Met Office has a bit of rain around 1am Monday Morning then it's bone dry.

This was funded as part of the Eastland project and funds from Man city owners ties to the City. It was always to drive sporting investment as well as low cost housing. The stadium was designed and is used as a multi use site, and MC Council want big international events in the city, but it is not tied to the Aces staying there.
