  1. Discovery don't want other tracks hosting it I'm afraid, and the temp stand was a discovery no option request. It wasn't needed but Belle Vue had no choice.
  2. Nonsense he spoke to my son and happily took a picture with him.
  3. No Poland have most meetings behind a pay wall, but they have the fans who will pay it.
  4. Back straight sold out can't sell anymore that sold out.
  5. That was Average mate, some over £100 in the grandstand, cheapest being £95. Some can't grasp basic maths, at £30 a ticket a sell out would have made less money. The only issue I had was kids tickets should of been cheaper.
  6. Or Steve you could check your facts, it was sold out and there was the same amount of tickets on sale as ever league meeting. Secondly I was there you couldn't move it was so full, that beats your opinion of a view on TV. The Grandstand is smaller than 2016 so it's bound to have less, that was temporary standing that was taken out at the end of that year, and when permanent standing put back in it was smaller to reduce costs due to the well documented financial issues that the club had at the time. I can guarantee you there was more in that stand than 2016, sometimes you have accept the views of other people especially if they were there and you weren't.
  7. Stop the bollocks Steve, you weren't there the back straight was full, it was sold out that's a fact. I was there you couldn't move it was packed, why make things up?
  8. Don't worry about the weather, forecast is dry all night, it's perfect Speedway weather.
  9. I don't think the 4 meetings make a difference mate, Im only going tonight, so no reason to stop others only going tonight, it's definitely the prices. That said around 3.4k sold for tonight as of yesterday, so at these prices it is like a gate of about 12k for a normal league match with everyone paying the £24 adult price.
  10. Yes never thought of that. So it definitely wasn't needed then. Ridiculous really.
  11. Only about 500 sold in that stand seems to have gone down from yesterday, so it must have been wrong. The crowd is around 3.4k as of this afternoon, at minimum of £65 that's a lot of money, but do wonder whether we actually need the temporary stand. The stadium can hold around 3.4k without it.
  12. Upgrade? I wont be swapping my back straight ticket to sit there, the South Stand is by far the best place to watch from at the NSS. I sat in that East Stand for the world cup and it's nowhere near as good as the South Stand .
  13. I wouldn't say Terrible, but yes prices have stopped it being a bigger crowd, they may have sold out a world cup at those prices but not the nations.
  14. Looking at current tickets sales it's looking like 3553 currently sold for tomorrow. There's around 127 tickets left in grandstand and 76 left in Southstand. Vast majority are left in the East Stand. Can they hit 4k by start time tomorrow, would need 447 pay on the days.
  15. Yes met office has it raining from 5pm but looks like showers rather anything too heavy. On a positive note it's dry all day tomorrow.
  16. As of now the following tickets are sold for Saturday. Grandstand: 1724 Temporary stand: 752. The southstand had 1000 tickets sold by last Weekend (obviously could be higher now) So currently at least 3476 tickets have been sold in advance . I reckon that hits at least 4k by start time Saturday with on the day purchases.
  17. I think it was a facisous post, as some on here tried to make out he'd been banned, when it was absolutely clear he hadn't been..
  18. Always sad to see a rider lose his place, but I can't believe any Aces fans didn't see this coming, Connor has declined recently and a change was needed.
  19. The Aces will get a facility if Kurtz doesn't ride, but it won't be extended past the 28 days.
  20. Again incorrectly read Steve, it doesn't say BK can't ride for 28 days it's says the Aces have a facility for 28 days. Brady is aiming to be back next week v Ipswich (As per Mark Lemon). Also if he's not fit to ride in 28 days then the facility can be extended as long as he doesn't ride abroad, which isn't the same as TM.
  21. Unbelievable or not, some seem to be reading a statement that isn't there.
