  1. If only Cummings' had gone to Durham earlier then we would have all been off lock-down even earlier and PR would have been correct!!!.
  2. Will all this lead to the first bend toilets being reopened?
  3. Also when appropriate the #1 would have an easy tac sub ride in Ht. 8.
  4. When did we see the first guests and r/r in League racing?
  5. Will it be 28 day bans at first no-show???
  6. Once the hour changes at the end of October it makes it more likely the travelling to the Speedway is in darkness and certainly colder. Not the best recipe for getting a crowd in.
  7. Perhaps he's not the Messiah (He's just a Very Naughty Boy)
  8. Will the Brummies be able to use r/r.... (Robbery / Replacement) ???
  9. When I was logging the start time of meetings I've attended Wolves would have the first race starting at 7:40pm. I remember Swindon had a period when the parade was prior to 7:30pm and first race started at 7:30pm.
  10. A few years back when I was watching the speedway at Auburn in California they started with three heats of quad bike racing. The track coped with that and possibly helped the grading.
  11. Coming in a bit late to this topic. From a Wolves perspective I had utmost respect for Nigel Boocock. He was unbeatable round the Green in the late 60's. Then Norman Hunter came along and beat him three times in one night. He became a top Wolf that night. So sad that damn meeting in Prestatyn happened. Nowadays (until C-19 happened) I get the chance to take the dogs to Barkby beach and drive right past the Holiday Camp where the track was. Shame Pontlditz wasn't built earlier.
  12. Hang on...... Mr Wolf has been updated to a Sylvester the Cat look-a-like!!! .... and Porky Spoon has halved his weight!!!! Fair point though
  13. Any thoughts on the 3:30pm start time for both of the Belle Vue meetings.
  14. Wow... having the 2020 proggy gives you a complete collection of every British Speedway meeting run... so far....
  15. Hi folks, had this from ‘Gornal Wolf’. Thought this was worth putting up for others to have a go at. Speedway Anagrams: All of these have been Wolves heat leaders: 1: enough regret 2: alison designes 3: prevented banger 4: ended girlfriend 5: lone sloe 6: Korean moslem 7: wet mom amnesty 8: dominika racks 9: enrico ornery 10: hyde anagram And some easier ones for any Cradley fans looking in. 1: Pruce Benhall 2: Bvor Irown 3: Toy Rigg 4: Polin Cratt 5: Hilly Bamill Enjoy
  16. Too true.... I'm watching the 'Sky Sorts No News' channel at the moment. It's better viewing when the adverts come on!!!
  17. To me, Mark was the pioneer who took the power of the Internet to Wolves fans. The fans communication age started with him. He created a 'family' that could meet via the keyboard or talk traditionally at the first step of the middle terrace above the starting gate. The management could never embrace this and even the building of that concrete monolith couldn't beat the Wolfcry crowd. Die hard Wolves fans were lost to the sport but Mark's legacy remains. Once, I went to Wombourne and Mark drove me to Poole. We chatted all the way and settled the dust in a Pub in the New Forest. It's the only time I wished the Dorset trek could have been longer! My life was the richer for meeting him. The politics of Speedway hurt him... the sport didn't. I said Speedway, Bob Dylan and the odd beer or two kept me going. He understood that. We have lost a gifted teacher - Gods' Internet has just gone up a level. RIP Mark. May you never be forgotten.
  18. Well said. And it delays the completion of a heat by 5 min's at least.
  19. Do we have to wait for Cheltenham Races to finish before any BCD announcements are made?
  20. I predict Jack Grealish will be 'fell discluded' in Heat: One.
