Maido could work wonders with a bag of sawdust!

I think we are on the same wavelength? It was certainly important to be served before him to ensure the optimum choice was available at that late time in the evening! .

It's the amount of new cut and paste postings in one go that causes the issues. Could you consider putting them up on the anniversary of the riders passing or their birthday. A more appropriate time for reflection.

Wimbledon Memories: 1: having beer(s) in the Corner Pin. 2: eating in the local chippy and chatting with Arthur Nutley. 3: 1970: Jimmy Ogisu at the Internationale. 4: disappointment that Ronnie Green couldn't pronounce Ivan Mauger''s name correctly. 5: getting lost on the way (pre sat navigation era!). Spotted bikes on a trailer. Followed it. Car stopped and it was Ivan Mauger. He got out and he said, "if you are following me, I'm visiting the people I stayed with when I first came to England. If you hang on 15 mins then I will go to Plough Lane!" 6: pulling onto the car park and the attendant said that Keith Moon had died. My mate in the car said, "Who". Wolves won!

Perhaps 'cynical' average manipulation to keep Douglas at reserve for the play offs would have been enough to negate the Dad's Army strength at reserve?

Perhaps Tai could ride all home meetings for Wolves on a Monday.... and then all Belle Vue home meetings on a Thursday.... it could be called 'doubling up' to help the BSPA (L) to maintain the sports integrity.

Depends which club has the best tattoo parlour?

I've heard Poole fans suggesting that Matt Ford was their best 'Supreme Stylist'

I've got a BSPA rule book..... but I think it's well beyond repair! -
What a gem. Thank you for the link. Just looking at the Memorial page. The Gary Peterson piece is a reminder of a meeting I will never forget. I will raise a glass to all of them later . RiP

Well I didn't know who the #8 was going to be!

Name the team after one of the other reindeers' then? Unless a Reindeer is a type of Stag in which case Scunny will probably veto it.

Just tried to get to Merry Hell for Christmas shopping and had to give up as nowhere to park. Came back via Cradley and it reminded me that the pub at the top of Dudley Wood Rd is, The Woodman and the one next to the 'stadium' is the Victoria Inn. A few Wolves fans would park up at the Golden Cross and have a few beers in the 'priest hole' before walking down the "Wembley Way Of The Midlands" to the track. Still miss the dump. Must visit the 'Ole Power' bridge sometime!

And I think he's in his early 30s, so might struggle to be a 'rising star '..

Definite future world champions - or not!

Same thoughts from me. Saw him on the Ca tracks in the early 90''s. Looked so fast and in control. A safe Kelly Moran was my initial thought. -
Sad news.... many a beer from the Red Lion, Cricklade was recycled in this most famous of toilets in Speedway. Was it really a pig trough as the urinal???

It's a solid Championship line-up, masquerading as a Premiership team!

I think Aces will go for Evans first and then bring Zagar in to join him in 2525.

Had a look at the in memorium site and paused to reflect on the riders that I had seen and had so sadly been robbed of a full journey in life. Some very very close to home. I then took a further reflective look at the 'In Memory' part of the speedwaybikes.com site for the USA speedway people & riders, in particularly those that I've met on numerous trips to the States from 1982 onwards. RIP to you all. I like to think that no one is ever fully forgotten. Thank you for these web sites.

Big Bad Wolfs 2022 (Wolves 2022)
Lefty replied to BartoszZmarzlikFan's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I'm amazed that the PL promoters are 'happy' to run a six team league that offers little to no variety of opposition. Sad times continue. -
Perhaps a cheaper washing powder? try Gustix .... it's great for causing agitation and stirring things up. Not sure it's Eco friendly though??
