  6. The engine in THIS bike is the Suzuki SEAR (Super Engine Auto Race) AR 600, a DOHC 4V 600cc engine. There is also for rookies the AR 500.

  9. Is there somewhere maybe a list with ESO / JAWA frame numbers for identifying ESO & JAWA Speedway and Longtrack Bikes.
  10. In the past there were other bikes with the final drive on the right side, but I never heard there is more risk for a riders right leg.
  11. I am almost sure that the primairy drive is not by a chain, but gear driven.

  14. Hi, to all Czech members. I try to find information about an old Czech speedway machine the "OGAR" made in 1937. I am told that recently there was a story about this machine in an oldtimer magazine. Is there a Czech member with some kind of information about this machine.

  17. Hi Dantodan. Just had a look at your site "Defunctspeedway" and I noticed that you claim the copyright for it. I wonder why because how many of the bike- and machines photos are actualy made by yourself. Most of the bikephotos on your site I already found on the internet, and in better quality. The photo from the James V Twin /1949 Langton Jap / early Jawa / 1951 Eso / 1967 Erskine Jap / FIS / Husqvarna / and the 1930 Crocker are for sure not made by you, because they are from me. You asked on your site for information about a "Simandl" machine. Jaroslav Simandl was the man that started making ESO bikes. but the very first ones he named just Simandl. On the old site "The Workshop" you can find the full story.
  18. German master tuner Horst Buhrmester made a brand new 4 valve head for the GM engine. For a full report and story see, http://bahnsporttechnik.de/home.html The new head was tested recently very succesfull by Glen Philips at the Ludinghausen longtrack.

  23. Is there some kind of information available about the alloy frame that Andreas Johnsson is using. Who made it and where.
  24. On the german site, http://bahnsporttechnik.de/home.html now with online English translation is a story about the new Danish FGM motor. FGM stands for Flemming Graversen Motor, and he designed and made for the GM shortstroke engine a new chaindriven DOHC 4V head.
