Poland,sweden,denmark Rules
Liverstam replied to speedy den boy's topic in International World of Speedway
Which really seems quite daft. Young riders should ride as much as possible, and 2 heats per week in the Elitserien don't help much. Therefore it is good they can double up in the lower tier. Why is doubling up for young brits not allowed any more? -
Poland,sweden,denmark Rules
Liverstam replied to speedy den boy's topic in International World of Speedway
True, but that was because one of them was in the team as nr8 and therefore not really in the team. At least now both reserve heats, teams nr 6 and 7, are protected against tacticals. Heats 2 and 11. But most juniors get switched out against the stronger reserve, in their other two. -

Any info on Pawel Hlib being banned by Gorzow? I've heard something along the lines..

The Khomitsevich brothers and Posa in a class of their own. The third russian and Akko to make up the 5 after tomorrow is my prediction.

I'm starting to worry about this mild winter weather though. Reportedly it will be around 5 degrees celsius on the plus side in Stockholm for the weekend

It roughly says the aggregate was broken, but then fixed. And that everything now looks fine. They are making ice at night, and so far it's 8cm thick of the required 20. It says the organizers paniced a little when it broke down but now they are in positive and good mood and confident of making it.

Predictions For.......
Liverstam replied to gaylord's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
I know I said this last year, and I'm probably betting too much with my heart. But I really think everything will come together for Andreas Jonsson, because if it does, he's such a fast rider. But then again he'll probably crash and injure himself just in time for the first GP. Here's to hoping for an injury free 2008 for AJ. (In Sweden often referred to as "AJ AJ" which means "ouch ouch" because he's always injured and always complaining about some injury or sickness). Can't really see the old guard of Adams, Hancock and Gollob challenging for real. Will be interesting to see which Crump will turn up though. World champion or fading force? My bet is the world title will go down between Nicki, Hans and AJ. -
Antonio Lindbäck Has Decided To Quit His Career
Liverstam replied to Ghostwalker's topic in International World of Speedway
A suspended sentence was what I expected. I'm glad he won't have to go to jail. -
I don't know if it is a wise appointment or not, I'll have to wait and see. But I'm generally positive and as long as Magnus Karlsson is not in the SWC in 2008 it's a step forward for team Sweden

Don't be so sure. There are up to five changes on the cards. Hopefully it will all be finalised quite soon! -
Swedish Elite & Allsvenskan Team Squads For 2008
Liverstam replied to Ghostwalker's topic in International World of Speedway
Because, depending on which riders we are able to bring in, others will be shipped out, even if they have deals for 2008 which all riders from this years team currently have. -

No danger of waiting for the official 'done and dusted' fixture list instead of causing confusion, guys? -

Robert, Kim and Tommie are all contracted to Hammarby. But they may well be put in Griparnas squad for next season. With the new farming rules in place, which let's you do all three series, Tommie Lundgren will in all likelihood also ride for Eldarna while the other two are probably a little too good for Div 1. -

Agreed, weird. In my opinion the truthful reasons are definitely not being told. I have to wonder, what's behind this? No real news on Hammarby as of yet. -

Apparently Lejonen have revoked the deal with canadian/pole Chris Slabon, who will remain with Rospiggarna. -
It's a 400m long track used normally for skating during the winter. It's artifical I guess... It's not on a lake?

Are you sure Ghostwalker? I thought Ludvigs' Team Kumla Promotion division 1 average of 9.68 was to be re-calculated twice, since he was written there. If so, he would be on 2.0 -

Are you predicting some last minute hi-jack by another club at the airport when Greg returns to Sweden, Mikael?
