Certainly hope you're right. Still very quiet around Joonas.

Swedish Eliteleague 2007 Dates Completed
Liverstam replied to tarabanko's topic in International World of Speedway
Not quite. Hammarby is a district in south Stockholm from which hails one of Swedens most famous sports associations - Hammarby IF, known commonly as Bajen. -
A decent allsvenskan rider. Nothing more, really. His cma this year with Getingarna was 5,30, which would put him on 2.0 in the Elitserien.
-
Well, not quite. He signed with Allsvenskan club Vargarna who will be Västerviks partner-club next year. Therefore Emil Lindqvist might still turn out for Västervik during the course of the season. Although maybe not that likely unless Västervik gets ravaged by injuries.
-
You are quite right Anders. Thanks for pointing that out. Tomas Karlsson is now excluded from the list.
-
Kaparna chief Tommy Rander has opted to keep the cards close to his chest though. The dead-line isn't until 31 of December. To clarify, I've only put in 100% confirmed signings.
-
Well spotted. Now sorted.

Nicki Pedersen and Leigh Adams were over there this fall riding for Mega Lada. Guess it was some sort of guest appearance, but at least for Nicki's part he's due back there in 2007.
-
Nothing wrong with ambition. Although I'm inclined to agree with Subedei in the sense that Simon Stead is nowhere near GP-standard at the moment.
-
It would cost you 1100 pounds in petrol from Newport to Coventry and back? What on earth are you driving?

I'm looking forward to seeing this guy live, so I'm glad someone signed him.

How come Jesper B. Jensen isn't in this event as the reigning champion?

British Selection For 2007
Liverstam replied to Gaz W's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Hey Grachan, you forgot about David Ruud and Jason Crump for VMS. -
Pederson And Olsen
Liverstam replied to Speedking's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Apparently the referee refused to re-view the incident which got Hans excluded on his monitor, and Nicki wanted Ole Olsen to do something about it, ie talk to the ref. Ole wouldn't though, saying it wouldn't be appropiate as he is also danish to which Nicki voiced the opinion that "Ole never does anything for Denmark, and if it had been the Swedes he would have done it". I thought it was rather amusing, and the exclusion was an apalling decision so I fully understand why the tempers were flying. -
Swc Final Sat 22 July 2006
Liverstam replied to Vincent Vega's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Apparently nobody fancies Sweden even though the Danes had almost nothing on us on tuesday. Well, suits us just fine to be the underdogs! -
Hans Andersen
Liverstam replied to pirate paul's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Hans might be something of a language genius. He speaks very good swedish aswell, unlike the other danes who usually resort to some kind of "scandinavian" when intervued by swedish media. -
Pretty hopeless to try and google the match since it's from 91. Maybe someone still has the season schedule from that year, or even went to that match can help you. Just out of curiousity, why do you want the exact date?

Sgp Eskilstuna, Sweden 20.5.2006
Liverstam replied to f-s-p's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
a vengeance, perhaps? -
TV4+ is included in most basic cable-TV packages. So it's not pay-per-view and it's not really pay TV either, although it's not entirely free of charge. (But then again, what is?).

Sgp Eskilstuna, Sweden 20.5.2006

I find this strange. When ordering tickets via ticnet you can pick them up at any tobacconist, nationwide. Last year I picked up my tickets for Eskilstuna in Umeå!
